2023…

Seismic Shifts – The Old Guard Leaves – The New Guard Arrives

The period of January through March of this year will shake up this nation and the world in more than one direction. In February, Saturn transits the end degrees of Aquarius, moving over the Moon of the USA, making stressful aspects with planetary positions in the charts of Donald Trump and Joe Biden, bringing their lives and presence on the world stage into even more uncertainty. I do not see that it would be likely that either one will be president in 2024. Interestingly the Solar Eclipse at 29 degrees of Aries on April 20th, hits the Moon in the chart of the 2021 Presidential Inauguration, which I forecast in 2020 would be the worst inauguration chart in recent history. That election cycle contained a Jupiter/Saturn conjunction (in Aquarius). This conjunction referred to as “Tecumseh’s Curse” historically points to presidents dying in office, which has occurred 85% of the time. Examples of this are – Abraham Lincoln, Franklin D. Roosevelt, John F. Kennedy, and Ronald Reagan, who was shot and survived). I sincerely hope the president will escape this fate.

Politics in the US:

Already, Rep. Nancy Pelosi, Rep. Steny Hoyer, and others have left leadership positions in the Democratic Party to make room for new persons, such as Rep. Hakeem Jeffries who will assume the position of Minority Leader in the House. The Republicans, whose structure and positions have been fragmented by Donald Trump, will be looking for new leaders beyond Kevin McCarthy, who will likely be Speaker of the House but will constantly battle between the more moderate with the “extreme right” segments of his party. Similar to the Democrats who squabbled with each other before them, they will be at odds with each other, confused as to what they stand for since their “leader”, Donald Trump has been openly collaborating with Neo-Nazis, White Supremacists, and Holocaust deniers and has multiple charges leveled against him. The more sane and balanced members of their party will rest quietly in the wings, waiting for better times. Meanwhile, the Jan. 6th Committee will have presented its findings of the Insurrection on Jan. 6th, 2021 to the Department of Justice. Both Mercury and Mars will go direct in the middle of Jan. 2023 in an inconjunction to one another which is a highly unstable and dangerous aspect. I am of the opinion that they will indict Trump for contributing to sedition and stealing top-secret documents from the FBI. There may be more violent demonstrations following this.

We need to wait and be patient. New people will emerge in both parties to run for president.

The War in Ukraine:

The powers-that-be in the US, the NATO Alliance, and the Russians will all want to end this war. Pres. Zelensky’s moving speech in front of the US Congress has helped him get funding for US Patriot Missiles. He has pledged to never give in to the Russians and Putin. I think a deal will likely be made sometime between March and June. Saturn (structuring and limiting) in Pisces (oil, gas, and chemicals) will likely lower the price of oil and gas, which has caught us up in a worldwide inflationary spiral.

What many people do not know is that a massive and vast system of fiber optic data cables, gasoline lines, and oil lines lie on ocean floors and pose a risk to global civilization if disturbed or destroyed. This is another serious element of the global economy that is at risk. Putin has lost the support of most of Russia’s populace and, if he can make a deal to “annex” a small portion of Ukraine, he will likely sign on. Russia (via Siberia) owns the Arctic. 70% of Arctic ice has disappeared since the last century, presenting the world with a new ocean underneath that may soon be released. Methane gas in Siberia is massively leaking into the atmosphere, creating multiple fires that cannot be put out. Putin needs to focus on this since the US is actively exploring this area. It is in his interest to get out of this war. His astrological chart also suggests he may have medical problems.

The Economy:

As oil prices come down and new green technology emerges, the need to suppress inflation will diminish. In the Spring, the Federal Reserve will halt its interest rate increases. The “recession” will likely peak in February and will be short and modest. January and Feb. will still see falls in the stock markets as the bear market continues. The bubble market, especially in showy stocks like Tesla, Apple, Alphabet, and Amazon will descend to more normal levels. The Trump tax breaks for billionaires will expire in 2024.

This year, there will be a big discussion about student loans, which have nearly destroyed the wealth of younger generations, as Mars goes direct in Gemini in mid-January and finishes its transit at the end of March. Both political parties are responsible for this disaster and something may get done when Jupiter goes into Taurus for a year, starting in May.

When Jupiter goes into Taurus on May 17th (and will be in this sign until May 25, 2024) and will sextile Saturn the week of June 18th the real estate and stock markets will make a comeback. In addition, bills will be proposed in the Senate to make it possible to create low and middle-income housing. People who are aware of the effects of climate catastrophes will be buying farmland in the US and around the world, with water deposits, and will move (in spite of the recent record-breaking blizzards) in a northerly direction, as droughts continue throughout the global south. The giant Micron chip plant in upstate New York will likely break ground this year in a movement to make chips in the US and get away from dependency on China. This is a huge economic event and is projected to create 50,000 jobs in the region.

Ironically, flooding will continue in the US South on the coastal regions and will eventually subsume those regions. Hydrology, or the science of water purification and conservation, will become extremely important. NASA has just launched a satellite specifically engineered to measure water vapor and oceans, rivers, lakes, etc. around the world. This will become an area in which to invest capital.

The transit of Uranus (technology) in Taurus (money) (May 2018- April 2026) has pointed to the digital currency revolution, led by Bitcoin and its Blockchain technology. However, with the crash and burn of FTX, the crypto exchange, taking down accounts of both billionaires and people of more modest means, Congress, led by Elizabeth Warren, is looking to pass strict regulations on these platforms. I am of the opinion that this whole area is a gambling scheme and dangerous for investors. Traded as a commodity and used as a currency, cryptocurrency has no backing.

Weather and Natural Events:

In 2022, we have had a huge surge in volcanoes erupting, i.e. the biggest volcano, Mauna Loa in Hawaii, Mt. Semeru in Java, the volcano in the Canary Islands, and volcanoes in Japan, Chile, and Guatemala. I think the Mars/Neptune square contributes to the earth’s instabilities (earthquakes and volcanoes erupting). This continues through March of this year. January’s inconjunction of Mercury and Mars, both going direct, indicates very cold, windy, and unstable weather throughout most of the US. In addition, we will see massive flooding in March in multiple nations in coastal regions.

Ironically, the big melts at the North Pole and Arctic regions push cold air and water southward, creating the blizzards we have recently seen; namely the storm in Buffalo, and a similar one in Japan. As a result, in some regions, the “warming” stimulates freezing. Interestingly, with Pluto going into Aquarius, this has coincided with mini-ice ages in the past. We now have a curious combination with the greenhouse effect (warming) with a possible solar minimum (cooling), combined with a series of volcanoes erupting (cooling.) This would suggest extreme uncertainty within the realm of climate forecasts.

Science and Technology:

Since I have been calling attention to the rapid development of NUCLEAR FUSION in my books and newsletters for the past 8 years, I received a lot of emails and calls when the breakthrough in “ignition” at Livermore Labs was announced last month on all the news channels.

In the online newsletter, “Science/United States of America” an article was posted by Sushimitha Rama Krishnan entitled “Energy breakthrough – Can nuclear fusion help fuel the world.” The article outlines how there was net energy gain using nuclear fusion in a lab was attained for the first time in history. It reports: “that this is the first experiment in history in which more energy was produced from fusion than the laser energy used to drive it.” This article is worth reading fully as it explains how fusion works and is being developed for use throughout the world. This is the “Holy Grail” of energy with no radioactive pollution (Plutonium and Uranium) and will eventually end the age of energy produced by fossil fuels. It is important to know that advanced sites in the UK, France, Germany, Japan, and China; and here in Cambridge, MA, and Seattle WA are all moving rapidly to solve the problems inherent in this technology. There is the huge ITER site in France that is designated to supply all of Europe with electricity and is projected to be “turned on” in 2025. As I have said before, 2026 is the “magic” year.

The transit of Saturn in Pisces, a sign associated with medicine, healthcare, biochemistry, hospitals, and water purification, will initiate experiments and successes in all these areas. Saturn “structures” and “organizes” the area in which it transits. We desperately need to reorganize our healthcare system, especially in the area of public health. Saturn’s sextile or opportune aspect to Jupiter in Taurus (money) will help to finance these areas. Wages will rise to bring in more healthcare workers. Progress in science with infectious diseases, as well as certain autoimmune diseases and cancer will be made in this cycle.

I am of the opinion that the study of “gut flora” will be the next great medical frontier. Since farmers were allowed to use antibiotics and hormones in their animals (started in the late 1970s) and spray their crops with Roundup (outlawed in every nation except the US), an epidemic of obesity in all age groups has swept our nation, accompanied by elevated risks of diabetes, heart disease, and cancer. Antibiotics kill the “gut flora” that keeps us slim and healthy and hormones disrupt our sexual development. We will soon see how serious all this is, and new regulations will be put in place. Right now, look for “organic” with labels that cite no use of hormones or antibiotics. In addition, we need to add fresh whole vegetables and fruits to our diets and less processed food.

In the January Issue of Scientific American, an interesting article was published by Herman Pontzer entitled: “The Human Engine”, about the evolution of human metabolism, and includes how wrong we have been about commonly believed notions about how we burn calories. He writes: The first comprehensive study investigating the effects of age and body size on daily energy expenditure has upended much of the conventional wisdom about metabolism. Metabolic rates increase with size, as expected. But they are not inherently different in men and women, nor do they decline with middle age, among other revelations from this research.” The whole article is worth reading.

In this same issue, there is a “mind-bending” article about quantum physics entitled: The Universe is not Locally Real” by Daniel Garisto. They report: Experiments with entangled light have revealed a profound mystery at the heart of reality.” They go on to say: One of the more unsettling discoveries in the past half-century is that the universe is not locally real. In this context ‘real’ means that objects have definite properties independent of observation – an apple can be red even when no one is looking. ‘Local’ means that the objects can be influenced only by their surroundings and that any influence cannot travel faster than light. Investigations at the frontiers of quantum physics have found that these things cannot both be true. Instead, the evidence shows that objects are not influenced solely by their surroundings and that they may also lack definite properties prior to measurement.” This article explains quantum “entanglement” and details in observations about the so-called reality that are nearly incomprehensible looking through the lens of so-called reality we have all been taught. I recommend you read this article with an open mind!

Final Thoughts:

As humans, we are living through times that are “uncharted” territory. The sciences are making discoveries that are frequently beyond our conception of the very foundations of realities to which we are accustomed. Upheavals in governance, pandemics, climate catastrophes, and mass migrations of millions of people from areas that are non longer livable, are often so overwhelming, we look to escape our fate through simple “denial” of the situations we are in, or, worse, turn to alcohol and drugs, and, worst of all, suicide. A large portion of the mass media is preoccupied with the most stupid, hateful, violent, and even criminal behaviors that seem to be sweeping over the world like a tidal wave.

This newsletter is dedicated to the people who care about people, who love their children, who care about their animals and all biological life on our amazing planet. I have located articles and publications that are published by brilliant scientists whose work is amazing and by persons who possess an amazing and refined intelligence leading us into a realm enabling us to sense the love and the light available to all of us.

New planetary configurations coming up in 2025-26 lend hope for a future of hope and many breakthroughs, that may solve some of our most fearsome problems. For me, giving up is not an option!

Blessings to all of you in the New Year!

Linda
