The challenge to the democracy, direction, and cohesiveness of the United States did not begin under the present administration. Monsters do not arise in history without an environment that encourages and enriches them. The massive shift of US wealth into the accounts of the ultra-rich, diminishing services, supports, and opportunities for all the rest of the populace, led our discontent down the “rabbit hole” of dark conspiracies, racial and ethnic hatreds, and polarization. These movements have frequently been supported by an unregulated mass media, whose primary goal has been mostly to generate billions of dollars in profits.

The separation of powers so carefully instituted by our Founders has failed to protect us from a dictatorship that freely violates the law in multiple directions. In 2010, in the Citizens United Decision, the Supreme Court ruled that unlimited corporate financing could be used in elections. In recent years, the Roberts Court has ruled that the president has nearly unlimited powers. The Congress has largely abdicated its authority to impeach him for multiple violations of law since the Republicans hold a majority in both houses and are afraid of losing their local elections. Thus, Pres. Trump has thoroughly instituted his own mobster form of governance, invading cities, using ICE throughout the nation ostensibly to deport illegal immigrants, and putting thousands into prisons filled with starvation and abuse, without trials to determine who is really there.

I PREDICTED in last month’s newsletter that Trump is entering a very difficult time in his presidency. The Supreme Court ruling in February that Trump does not have the constitutional right to impose tariffs is finally showing a “change in direction” that I believe, as an astrologer, is the beginning of the restoration of democracy and survival of the US that I believe the planets are presenting to us.

Trump’s policies are startlingly reminiscent of the Communist military government that took over Russia early in the 20^th Century and the Nazi Gestapo police that took over Germany in the 1930s. Trump’s erecting tasteless monuments to himself in Washington reminds us of those statues and building facades of dictators Hitler, Stalin, and Saddam Hussein that were torn down and demolished when their regimes fell. Most importantly, he is threatening to stop the important mid-term elections by declaring them “illegal” in advance. He violates international laws and norms by threatening to take over Greenland and Venezuela, even though these attempts have been limited by his proclaiming he is only “making deals,” and he recently backed down from invading Greenland. Now, he is surrounding Iran with military vessels, threatening to go to war unless they demonstrate they are not producing a nuclear weapon. When polled, the majority of Americans do not want to go to war.

Backlash:

The overwhelmingly large protests in Minneapolis, accompanied by Bruce Springsteen’s anthem, have flooded the media. A nationwide protest has been scheduled in March, just as Mercury goes direct conjunct the North Node. Special elections (before the midterms) are being decisively won by Democrats, pointing to a new backlash political wave. Inflation, non-affordable health care, job layoffs, and terrible cuts to government services to public education, the poor and disabled, who were all previously funded by Congress, are all taking a terrible toll on American families across the nation. Recent polls indicate a larger share of the American public now disapproves of the Trump administration.

The Epstein Files:

The Epstein files are not going away. The information from these files is unseating highly placed VIPs here in the US and all over the world. The planets in Pisces, upending secrets and scandals, do not go away until the end of April. Trump’s nefarious association with Epstein will continue to be revealed, plunging his polls further downward.

Military Threats:

The current planetary transits in Pisces and later into Aries signal a “changing of the guard,” as many economic and political systems are revealed to be both deceptive and defective. The term “wagging the dog” may be revived as the President may engage in threatening more military actions, underlying the new Aries transits, which often resort to war to divert failures of policy at home. Trump’s threats of war in Iran illustrate this effort. Mars transits Pisces from March 3^rd until April 9^th, when it goes into Aries until May 19th. This will keep everyone “guessing” as to which personality on the bipolar spectrum Trump will exhibit.

THE PROFOUND and SIGNIFICANT Saturn/Neptune conjunction on Feb. 14th has coincided with the expiration of the nuclear arms treaty between Russia and the US that had sustained itself in some form for the past 50 years. The last Saturn/Neptune conjunction in 1989 coincided with the fall of the Berlin Wall and the collapse of the Soviet Union. This does not bode well for Putin and his attempt to take over Ukraine. We now know he has been so desperate for soldiers that he has been recruiting men from Kenya to fight and lose their lives in Ukraine. Recently, he sold huge amounts of gold to continue financing his war, since the Russian economy is so bad, its citizens are running out of food, electricity, and basic income.

Meanwhile, China has been developing and expanding its nuclear arsenal to approximately 600 sites and is openly projecting to increase the arsenal to 1000. A three-way nuclear arms race between Russia, the US, and China will jack up the possibility of nuclear war that could lead to the extinction of most life on earth!

Pisces transits move from confusion and super sensitivity into fiery Aries which seeks immediate action. There may be confrontations between ships “at sea” that may be resolved when Mars is sextile Uranus in Taurus on April 23. As mentioned above, Trump has recently strategically installed military vessels surrounding Iran, whose astrological chart is being hit by the planetary configurations. He is threatening to attack this nation ostensibly for killing their government protesters and holding on to their enriched nuclear capabilities. Trump uses all these confrontations as part of his “extortion racket” with the intent of making financial “deals”. This would comprise his so-called “talks” with Ukraine that would make US help contingent on favorable oil and land deals in the nation. Because he likes Putin, Trump has essentially abandoned Ukraine.

Recently, China’s premier Xi has “purged” his eight top generals, fueling speculation about where he will go with his promise to “take over” Taiwan in 2027. I have already predicted significant changes in leadership in China as Pluto transits its Moon and Ascendant, leading to shakeups in government. Trump made a trade agreement with China for their rare earths. How far, if at all, will the Trump administration go to continue to support Taiwan with the US military? Uncertain and dangerous times lie ahead.

Mercury retrograde:

Mercury is retrograde in Pisces until it goes direct at 8 degrees Pisces, exactly conjunct the North Node of the Moon on March 8^th. The Sabian degree of 8 degrees Pisces is described as “An Emperor and empress are seated upon adjacent thrones. The empress leans over to her husband and gives him some frank advice on an important matter of state.” Perhaps this administration will heed advice from a woman. It would point to cooperation between men and women in an attempt to hold the world together in turbulent times. Many women are now impressively operating within positions of global leadership.

The Economy:

Uranus passes through Taurus for the last time until it goes into its major transit into Gemini (April 26^th), remaining in Gemini through 2033. This recent transit in Taurus last passed through these signs from the 1930s into the early 1940s marking the Great Depression and WWII. The previous transit in Gemini occurred when we entered WWII, vaulting our economy out of the Great Depression.

Current relations between the US and other nations are fragile. The War in Ukraine is still raging with no end in sight, with the Trump administration having withdrawn its support for Ukraine. Trump’s love affair with Putin will not be popular, even with his base. There is evidence that Trump has been a Russian “operative” since the 1980’s when he may have been laundering Russian money in the US through real estate transactions. One of these transactions is known to have involved Jeffry Epstein, who is now known to have been hooked up with Russians, both in real estate ventures and human trafficking..

Trump has threatened and insulted our allies and trading partners to the point that we are losing our power and status in the world. On the bright side, NATO should pay its fair share into the alliance and supply more of its military support, moving away from sole dependence on the US. On the dark side, Trump’s view of the US sticking to its own hemisphere, breaking up global alliances, and insulting national leaders supports a global economy now moving toward economic alliances with China and away from the US.

Current economic systems are fragile for a multiple of reasons, not the least is the solvency of the US dollar. US debt is at an all time high, and tariffs are being threatened or imposed. In January, Japan sold off its US Treasuries. European nations are moving their assets out of the US, selling both treasuries and stocks. Jupiter in Cancer goes direct on March 10^th and Mars will trine it on the 21^st. This is somewhat protective of the US over the short term.

Gold and Silver:

All this has led me to suggest investments in gold and silver. An article on Kitco News Feb. 24 by Neile Christensen reports: “Gold is not held as a fiscal financing tool but as a strategic reserve asset underpinning credibility, confidence, and monetary resilience.” He continues to report: “Global gold reserves have now surpassed US Treasury holdings for the first time since 1996.” The US dollar has been the global reserve currency for decades. Our massive national debt is threatening this status. However, other nations are also burdened with massive debts so it is unclear who would take over this status. All this points to a global instability that personal ownership of gold would, in a small way, alleviate.

AI and the Economy:

There is no longer any question that AI “unleashed” will eliminate many jobs, not only in the US, but around the globe. Economies will have to reinvent themselves. I think we will accomplish this in time. A much bigger concern is AI regulation – ethical decision making, data privacy, and cybersecurity. We all know the consequences of ignoring regulations over the past 30 years, as the internet developed, including lies, fraud, and data theft. Consumer protection was only an afterthought.

As a result of a profits-only mandate in all online businesses, our nation’s children have been “dumbed down” and are losing the ability to think critically and creatively. Many are succumbing to severe depression and suicide. We need a rule of law to step in and stop the madness. Once these assurances are in place, AI actually offers instant calculations and bodies of information never before available to all of us, lending the time and energy for us to discover, create, and mold whole worlds of possibilities – even solving the problems it, itself, creates.

META’s Mark Zuckerberg is currently on trial for addicting kids to online sites, resulting in an an array of bad results for young people, including intellectual decline, depression, and suicide. Research has shown that constantly being online is generally destroying the human capacity to pay attention. This is only the beginning of a new direction pointing toward holding all the corporations on the internet and AI accountable.

Devaluation:

There are rumors that US central banks are buying up gold involving a scheme to “re-evaluate” the price of gold and eventually back the US dollar with it, all in an attempt to prevent the dollar from devaluation and losing its global currency status. In January, there was a sell-off in stocks, along with gold and silver, upon Trump’s announcement of a new Fed Chair, Kevin Warsh. This will not indicate a trend. The financial “cartel” will likely initiate a sell-off in silver to bring the price down, and then buy it back. As I have reported above, gold and silver have initiated a substantial “comeback”.

A possible way to personally protect yourself from these economic uncertainties is to hold gold and silver. The hidden “shorts” by the big banks in the precious metals are being unwound, and the money is being renegotiated through these targeted sell-offs. At this time, there is a significant capital gains penalty on the sale of silver (gold too), which has been declared a necessary metal. The solution is to invest in silver mining stocks. New capital investments in the metals will reveal themselves. As stated above, gold may be positioned to back the dollar again in the future. Jupiter (expansion) goes into Leo on June 31^st for over a year; Leo is a sign traditionally associated with gold.

UFOs:

Trump has announced he is releasing all the government’s previously hidden UFO Files. I am in favor of this decision, but I have my doubts that all this information will be released without significant “redacting”. President Jimmy Carter witnessed a UFO. President Reagan, back in the 1980s, was convinced we were being visited by aliens, since he witnessed a UFO. President Obama, when interviewed, said he suspects alien UFOs may be real. In recent years, Congress has heard multiple testimonies from credible people and has admitted that there is no current scientific explanation for many pictures of UFOs. If, indeed, aliens have been present here on Earth, the question arises: “Can we handle this?”

New Frameworks:

The Feb. 14^th conjunction of Saturn and Neptune at 00 degrees Aries marked a NEW AGE in humankind’s history. The transit of Uranus into Gemini, beginning April 26 and walking into a trine with Pluto in Aquarius and a sextile with Neptune in Aries in July, ushers in new ideas, technologies, breakthrough inventions, new economies, and even the emergence of new global leadership. Whatever world we have lived in up to this time will be dissolving as new frameworks of consciousness present themselves on the world stage.

Science & Technology:

Recently, in the “Tokamak Times,” it was announced that “Commonwealth Fusion Systems (CCFS) delivers its first fusion magnet, a stronger, smaller design.” It goes on to state: “Key innovations unlocked our new pathway to a smaller, more economical fusion power plant. It will become part of SPARC, the machine we are building to demonstrate the core technology of a fusion power plant.”

Since the world is running out of fuel to power the astronomical amounts of fossil fuel it will need to run both AI and cryptocurrency systems, there is a rush to reopen old nuclear fission plants and dig further for more oil, coal, and gas, continuing to pollute the environment. Whatever is going on here is short and temporary at best. Within about 10 years, we will run out of fossil fuels to run these giant energy grids. The Holy Grail of energy is nuclear fusion, and by this coming July, when Jupiter enters Leo, the world will start to wake up to its importance.

Science News recently reported: “Scientists at Stanford Medicine have discovered a treatment that can reverse cartilage loss in aging joints and even prevent arthritis after knee injuries. By blocking a protein linked to aging, the therapy restored healthy shock-absorbing cartilage in old mice and injured joints, dramatically improving movement and joint function. Human cartilage samples from knee replacement surgeries also began regenerating when exposed to the treatment.”

It has been announced that the Nobel Prize was awarded to three scientists who discovered how to prevent the immune system from attacking the body. Autoimmune diseases like Lupus, Hashimoto’s Disease, MS, Psoriatic Arthritis, etc., are a scourge on human health. This breakthrough in medicine accompanies recent research into how to prevent healthy, normal cells from becoming cancerous.

There are new requirements for human life on earth; loudly proclaimed from the stars and felt deeply here on the earth. The upheavals in nature and those massive changes initiated by human power and innovation are shocking us out of our collective coma into a light that could initially blind us. What do we do with this? What do we do about this? Are the richest and most powerful of us simply too consumed by greed and self-absorption? Are the rest of us simply too tired, too broken, too unprepared to come face to face with this terrifying dilemma – extinction or evolution?

The greatest hope for the future lies within the frameworks of the questions themselves. The yearning for decency, love for our neighbors, equality of opportunity, respect for life on earth – are emerging out of the soils of our distant past into the light of Spring. The Vernal Equinox faithfully arrives, as it does every year, to remind us that we have a chance, once again, to reinvent ourselves. The Cold and Challenging Journey from Capricorn to Aquarius

The bundling of planets from Capricorn into Aquarius (Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars) transiting together through these signs in January and February is a demonstration of humankind’s often harsh struggle; first to simply survive the storms and conflicts, and secondly to work together to invent technologies and forge alliances and friendships that solve the problems that are impossible to detect and correct by an individual alone.

We experienced Pluto’s transit in Capricorn from 2008 – 2024, taking Pluto’s deadly dance of death through society’s established political leadership; the “disestablishment of the establishment” that I have frequently referred to in my books and newsletters. Capricorn often seeks a “father archetype”; presents itself as “the government”, “the corporate and banking system that controls an economy, “respected” leaders in politics and industry within the highly valued system of “trust and verify”.

Pluto, the King of Conspiracy, spoke to people in the US and around the world, asserting that all authorities were flawed. He warned the public-at-large to “trust nobody”. His presence in our skies coincided with an extreme polarization of bad will between races, sexes, political parties, and religions. This has led to a loss of faith in Democracy, which cannot exist without well-informed critical thinking, a willingness to compromise, proven historical institutions, and a collective respect for all views. Unfortunately, this month’s planetary concentrations in Capricorn point to a possible flu epidemic.

The great irony in all this tension and anger has been the willingness to return to authoritarian leaders whom many believe will care for them like a “benevolent parent,” relieving them of the responsibility to ferret out the truth. These collective decisions have led to a reemergence of dictatorships here in the US and around the world — who spew lies and propaganda over the media, demonize immigrants, suck up a nation’s wealth, and freely use the military to stop protests and further their own personal interests.

The internet and its presence on cell phones, and then the advent of AI on all devices everywhere, is framing itself as a parent-like “authority. This would remind us of numerous science fiction novels involving people who “consult” it not only for information but for “therapy”, or simply companionship as an antidote to the loneliness often created by solitary individuals, living and working from home alone. I can’t help but remember the computer, “Hal”, who controlled the space capsule on “2001: A Space Odyssey”, the famous novel by Arthur C. Clark, made into an iconic movie in the 1970s.

The frenzy over open AI will likely hit a wall of harsh realities in 2026. The investment (on borrowed money) of over $1 Trillion is only estimated to bring in an estimated $1 Billion a year. This is not a perfect tool as it is filled with errors and misstatements. We must remember that AI has been created by humans. Thus, a “bubble” breaks, along with the stocks invested in this area. In addition, our chief competitor in the world, China, is ahead of the US in the development and evolution of AI.

A Flawed Economic System:

The long established American “worship” of unregulated capitalism has resulted in what some call a “Plutocracy” in which giant corporate monopolies who fight with each other for control, escape taxation, dodge responsibility for product flaws, create national monopolies, and, since the Citizens United Decision from the Supreme Court in 2010, can pour limitless amounts of money into political campaigns. This does not resemble any model of healthy entrepreneurial capitalism, which would encourage innovation and healthy competition. It is also seriously damaging public systems, including Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and public education.

Over the past several years, Sinclair Media has become a media monopoly by acquiring local newspapers, radio stations, and television stations across the country. The recent battle between Netflix and Paramount to buy Warner Bros. – Discovery is an example of this trend that could potentially control and interpret all the “news media”, eliminate access to free speech, and even possibly “dumb down” the nation’s collective mind even further as young people’s eyeballs continue to be plastered to their cell phones. We are facing the fact that, at this moment in time, 80 – 90 percent of this nation’s wealth is concentrated in the accounts of 1100 American families! Meanwhile, the public at large can no longer afford health insurance, housing, adequate education, or infrastructure repairs nationwide.

A Reality Check:

Since the end of World War II, the USA has been the world’s greatest economic and military power. Our GDP is, by far, the largest in the world. It has also become an intellectual center of scientific research, development of innovation, and has attracted the finest academic minds from other nations to gather here and work in our universities to expand knowledge that will benefit humanity-at-large. It has come at a cost.

Too many Americans feel “left out” of all this to the point they feel “invaded” by foreigners, whom they blame for their reduced financial situations. This same segment of the population is reeling from “culture shock” as different races, ethnic groups, religions, and sexual orientations emerge as major forces in their lives. Thus, there is an emergence of extreme “right-wing” political forces that will go to great lengths to reverse all of this.

Instead of correcting these imbalances, President Trump has obliterated and defunded all the institutions that made us a great nation, and is blaming immigrants, playing to blame “the other” than white “Christians” he thinks are the “real” Americans. In addition, he has imposed tariffs that, historically, have never worked and only served to make our economy worse. However, corporations that donated to Trump’s campaigns and events were systematically “exempted” from the tariffs. The nations on which the US imposes tariffs impose tariffs on the US, ultimately ballooning prices for the consumer, and everyone loses.

Returning to Fascist tactics, Trump has recently announced a beefing up of our military and nuclear complex, encouraging other nations like South Korea and Saudi Arabia to do the same. For decades, all administrations have been working toward global disarmament of nuclear weapons, realizing the human potential for the dreaded “mutual self-destruction.” All this is playing out as Trump refuses to support Ukraine and caters to Russia in a terrible war that Russia started. Instead of supporting the NATO Alliance in this war, he launches military strikes at Venezuela and Nigeria, violating international norms, and threatens to take over Greenland.

Meanwhile, China is forging ahead as an economic powerhouse.

Possible Solutions:

Fair taxation of the rich could help create social support systems for relevant and targeted training and education, housing, and health care, to give Americans more access to benefit from an economy that is currently often out of their reach. In December of 2025, former Republican candidate for president, Mitt Romney, wrote an editorial published by the New York Times entitled “Tax the Rich, Like Me.” Trump’s economic policies are all about firing personnel and defunding the greatest centers for medical and scientific study in the world, claiming “waste and fraud. His “reverse Robin Hood” techniques would rob the poor to finance the rich. His anti-intellectual policies could collapse US scientific and medical research organizations that have led the world for decades. Fair trade with other nations throughout the world needs to be brought back. These destructive policies need to be reversed and our greatest institutions restored.

Around the World:

Multiple climate catastrophes, civil wars resulting in starvation like the one in Sudan, border wars in developing nations, and ongoing crises in the Middle East that produce terror groups like ISIS and Hamas have increased migrations throughout the world. Amplifying all this are the horrific wars in Palestine and Ukraine. The US had developed what is called “soft power” through charitable organizations such as USAID, which the Trump administration recently “defunded. Trump’s focus on Venezuela, threatening a war over “drug trafficking,” has now attracted our old enemy, Iran, to support them and may lead to a larger war. Trump’s attempt to “settle” the Ukraine/Russia War by “capitulating” to Putin will not work as NATO nations and the EU are stepping up their economic and military support for Ukraine. Putin will never forge any compromise.

What Now?

Pluto is transiting Aquarius over a considerable arc of time that will extend to March 2043. Uranus is transiting Gemini, and Neptune and Saturn are transiting Aries. Historically, Pluto has transited the end degrees of Capricorn and into Aquarius at the time of the American Revolution — which was a war fought for Democracy — self-governance rather than a people controlled by a monarchy; a president, legislature, and judicial system with a “balance of powers” so that no one entity could control a nation. It ushered in an age of inventors, statesmen, and grand experimental ideas such as “We the People.” Unfortunately, these transits also coincided with great wars before these victories were won. In this era of nuclear weapons, we cannot tolerate a “great war” that would possibly result in the extinction of mankind.

A Wake-up Call:

Guess what! Here we are, finally waking up one morning to see that a dictator took office in the US with an astrological chart that bears a startling resemblance to “Mad King George”, who was the king during the American Revolution. It is de-ja-vu all over again. The Eclipse in February at 28 degrees Aquarius, conjunct the US Natal Moon signals a crisis in the continuity of the presidency, suggesting Pres. Trump will suffer a series of losses, making it difficult for him to remain in power.

The Tide is Turning:

These two winter months in 2026 will enhance and frame our crises, conflicts, and awakenings that swirled around us in 2025. With skyrocketing inflation, huge price increases in healthcare that benefit predatory billionaires, jobs lost to Artificial Intelligence, and the three parts of government, that were meant to “check and balance one another” rolled into one, — people are starting to feel the pain and “come out of their coma”.

The US is now having to face the harsh realities that became fact when we turned ourselves over to somebody who not only did not “save” us, but who is a fraud, convicted of fraud, and who has used his power in the government to line his own pockets (his deal with the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia and his cooperation with Russia’s Vladimir Putin)). He rewards those loyal only to him (the others he indicts in the courts). This president has seen Congress and the Supreme Court do nothing essentially as he violates the law, usurps their power (tariffs), and uses ICE to arrest, detain, and deport immigrants indiscriminately all over the nation. The Epstein scandal revelations continue to unfold in Congress. More and more Republicans are either leaving office or disassociating themselves from the President. The Supreme Court has recently signaled they may no longer support the president’s agenda at all costs.

The February transits in Aquarius present a wake-up call. The Eclipse Degree of 28 degrees Aquarius is conjunct the Natal Moon of the US and is on the Descendant of Donald Trump, suggesting his partnerships and coalitions may be breaking up or coming to an end. It suggests “We the People” are ready to emerge out of a chrysalis and implement the famous “butterfly effect” where all of us, rich or poor, young or old, man or woman, can change the course of history!

The Economy:

Treasury data from last year shows the US government spent $970 Billion on NET INTEREST in fiscal 2025, more than the $917 Billion spent on national defense! Healthcare costs are skyrocketing beyond anything we have ever seen before, as many of us discovered in Dec. 2025 when we had to negotiate which plans to adopt – especially those attached to both the Affordable Care Act and Medicare. January will see increased unemployment, corporate restructuring with layoffs connected to AI, fights in Congress concerning taxes (the unfair distribution of taxation of the middle class and little or nothing connected to the very rich). Financial markets may come down. People will believe that the data points to recession and to possibly what is now being called the “AI Crash”. At this time, however, I do not see a serious recession.

The housing market continues to be uncertain, since Uranus is still in Taurus (real estate) until the end of April. This is not just about interest rates. Young people with decent jobs do not make enough money to afford to buy property. They are often shouldering college loan debt, credit card debt, and health insurance costs, etc., that all eat away at their finances. There has also been a movement of millions of people through their retirement funds into the stock market, similar to the trends in the1920s. Financial journalist, Andrew Ross Sorkin, points this out in his recent blockbuster book “1929” — that historically, in the 1920s, thousands of middle-class people put all their money and savings into the stock market without knowing what they were doing, done within a background of missing safety nets.

The new “Gold Rush” has already begun as a hedge against the out-of-control inflation spiral, as the nation will no longer be able to service its debt. Both gold and silver may see all-time highs this year. These January Capricorn transits will go over the US Pluto in Capricorn, raising even more conflicts over who and what controls the US economy, and would be revealing what would be most accurately described as resembling the “Gilded Age” of the early 20^th Century.

From the end of January to the end of February, planets will go through Aquarius, joining the present transit of Pluto in this sign and recalling the adage spoken by Patrick Henry – “Give me liberty or give me death.” Aquarius is a sign of innovation, technology, and wide communication networks. Artificial Intelligence will be at the top of the agenda. There will be major moves in Bitcoin and other Coin-based currencies. We are witnessing an age of “Online Everything.” On Feb. 14th (Valentine’s Day), Saturn and Neptune will be conjunct at 00 degrees Aries, which astrologers refer to as the “World Point”, elevating the presence of these trends.

By April 26, 2026, Uranus will go back into Gemini, harmonizing with Pluto in Aquarius and Neptune in Aries. This is truly the “Dawn of the New Age” we have all been waiting for!

Mercury Retrograde:

The Mercury transit into Pisces this month, which will retrograde at the end of February and go direct in the middle of March, will have us all “swimming” in doubt and confusion. Part of this uncertainty will be caused by crazy storms and accompanying weather conditions across our nation until the end of April. All this does not inspire confidence in stable financial markets, any more than it does in stable weather conditions.

Weather and Natural Events:

Last year, Mt. Kilauea in Hawaii erupted 37 times, Alaska endured a major earthquake, and Japan endured another major earthquake and tsunami. Feb. 3, Uranus goes direct and is square Mercury Feb. 5 and is square Venus Feb. 7, both “earth-shaking” events. Since Aquarius rules over aviation, I would not be traveling by air in this period. Mars hits this square on Feb. 27, just as Mercury goes retrograde on Feb. 25., another time to stay safe and remain home. Saturn and Neptune reach critical degrees in Pisces (storms and earth instabilities) before they conjunct on Feb. 14^th in the new sign of Aries.

Science & Technology:

A major breakthrough in nuclear fusion has occurred in France’s ITER nuclear reactor that has been constructed over decades and had run into a multiple of problems.. It has maintained 90 million degrees of plasma for a record-breaking 22 minutes and 17 seconds. This information was posted in Advanced Science News, 2025. This surpasses what was recently accomplished in China. Fusion is on its way to eventually solve our energy crisis and end human-induced global warming.

Recently, an article in “Interesting Engineering” reported – “Researchers at MIT have discovered “the most direct evidence to date of unconventional superconductivity, in “magic-angel” twisted trilayer graphene (IMATTG).” “This finding is a crucial step in the global search for room-temperature superconductors, often referred to as ‘The Holy Grail of Physics.”

Recently, in December, the CBS show”60 Minutes” did a piece on a mother faced with her sick infant’s genetic disease that would destroy her spinal cord. Recent genetic engineering has formed a “cure” for this disease with a caveat: it costs $1.4 million. Some programs donated the money, and the child‘s life was saved, but the point of the story is that there is no way most people can afford to make use of these medical interventions. CRISPR technology, which has ushered in genetic “cures” for diseases, is a breakthrough in medicine, but it is too costly for most people to access.

Looking to the future:

I believe the year 2026 will mark a turning point in human civilization, marked by technological breakthroughs across AI, spaceflight, and medical cures for cancer, autoimmune diseases, infections, and even mental diseases and abnormalities. The “theory of entanglement” has already transformed our notions of time, space, and a quantum reality that resembles nothing we have encountered in history. Recent observations among quantum theorists would suggest that time, as we know it, does not exist.

On April 26, 2026, all the powerful slow-moving planets: Pluto, Neptune, Uranus, and even Saturn will be in new signs, making supportive angular relationships (aspects) with each other. With both Neptune and Saturn going into Aries (the God of War), the looming question will be whether or not we engage in another world war. June 30^th, Jupiter goes into Leo (which I will discuss in future newsletters), making aspects to all these planets. This could be the “Time we have been Awaiting” for centuries:

However, it is not enough for us to march into the Space Age without the components of human compassion, emotional maturity, intellectual curiosity, and spiritual development. This would be analogous to giving a fire bomb to a toddler. As legend has informed us, when Prometheus brought fire to the human race, the Gods were horrified, saying humans “could not handle this” and punished Prometheus for the act. Were the gods right?

Final Thoughts:

I foresee enough people speaking out with intelligence and compassion; younger persons running for positions in the political sphere, and demonstrating in our great cities, who would create a wave of consciousness change that will speak to us once again, reclaiming our democracy – a nation by and for the people. We will have to recognize and end our reliance on the “Reptilian” part of our brains, because such humans will simply go extinct.

Because I can’t see any other alternative, I prefer to think humanity will likely discover and begin our ascension to a higher level of intelligence that would recognize and access multiple levels of the conscious universe we currently inhabit. The bridge to this new way of living will be formed by the gathering of all the different individual pulses into one beating heart, encompassing the whole earth and inspired by the constellations above. As America challenges all its previous allies and trading partnerships under the MAGA isolationist policies, we are witnessing a backlash of a new and powerful alliance between the nations of India, Russia, North Korea, and China. Russia is the biggest land mass nation in the world and shares much of its border with China. It barely supports a tiny disintegrating economy while at war with Ukraine, which is successfully bombing and destroying its oil and gas pipelines and infrastructure. India, which has been “tariffed” by Trump, is now insulted and alienated from a decades-long technological and economic relationship with the US.

China has the second-largest economy in the world, holds more gold in its accounts than anyone else as a “hedge” against inflation, and is equal to the US in military might. Trump has forged a “mixed ownership” TikTok deal with China, proposing a consortium of corporations owning this mass social media empire, leaving a sliver to be owned by China. However, he is imposing huge tariffs on China on most products. Meanwhile, US farmers are going bankrupt as migrant workers are fleeing or being deported, and the US tariffs on China have caused it to close its market for soybeans. China is picking up the markets in nations Trump has “tariffed” on its pathway to becoming the world’s greatest economy. At this time, China is ahead of the US in the manufacture of solar panels, electric vehicles, environmental technology, and AI infrastructure. They have developed a nuclear fusion plant that may be ahead of all the other sites.

NATO has gathered strength in Europe under the US presidency. Trump previously “stepped back” from challenging Putin in the Russia/Ukraine War and then verbally lent his support to Ukraine; tactics that “flip-flop” back and forth, leaving the world in a black hole of uncertainty. However, Ukraine’s careful targeting of Russia’s oil and gas infrastructure, lampooning Russia’s economy, and fighting back at its borders is leading many to think they will ultimately win this war. The UK, going through a serious economic downturn, has cozied up to Trump in exchange for American businesses going there.

Speaking to “cozying up” to Trump, the optics of our nation’s billionaire “tech magnates” sitting together smiling at a recent luncheon with the President, are revealing to us why a Fascist is still comfortably reigning over this nation.

MERCURY goes retrograde Nov. 9 until Nov. 29^th, in Sagittarius, backward into Scorpio, direct in Scorpio, and forward into Sagittarius Dec. 12. There will be confusion between the optimism innate in Sagittarius and the lack of trust present in the sign of Scorpio. The Sagittarius planets are square (in conflict with) Saturn and Neptune, which are back in Pisces until next year, moving the public back into fear, disillusionment, and despair.

JUPITER, currently in Cancer, is somewhat protective of the US, a Sun in Cancer nation. However, worldwide, serious natural events such as volcanic eruptions, storms, and earthquakes are likely to recur. These same transits form volatile aspects going through the astrological chart of the President. Trump, whose mental stability has been in question in recent months. He has been sending ICE and National Guard military forces into Chicago and Portland illegally, supposedly looking for undocumented migrants. This would cause us to recall Hitler’s Gestapo in 1930s and 1940s Germany with its mass arrests, killings, and incarcerations. The recent and most impressive “No King” rallies throughout the nation would remind us of the first American Revolution, as I have mentioned in previous newsletters. We are fighting for Democracy once again.

Freedom of Speech:

September and October presented us with a political assassination, multiple mass shootings, and the firing of media comics whose comments alienated the Trump coalitions. Trump’s extortion racket tactics of “permitting” media giants to merge with each other in exchange for getting rid of any dissent with his policies – are all reminding us that we are a nation run by oligarchs. The One Per Cent owns nearly everything and – as a consequence – owns nearly everyone. Freedom of speech is on the chopping block.

As polls are being taken, people are being interviewed, opinions are being expressed. The Jeffrey Epstein scandal, implicating Trump, is not going away. The president’s recent speeches at the UN and in front of the US military filled with hate, condemnation of immigrants and his political foes and, most importantly, scatter-shot and nearly incomprehensible would lend support to those who think he is mentally unwell.

It would seem that the public is so inundated by every form of mass media with information and opinions, they have withdrawn into personal positions, dark places, and blind corners where they frequently no longer seem to know what is going on at all.

The Economy:

Inflation is not being tamed. The US debt is so large and growing that, even with lowered interest rates, Congress cannot make a dent in it. Prices are so high, most of the so-called “middle class” cannot afford a house, buy groceries, rent an apartment, buy a car, or medically insure themselves. According to the National Association of Realtors, housing prices are up 56% since February 2020. About 15% of our population is now “co-buying” homes with a friend or relative. Unemployment is rising.

Wall Street will likely have extreme “mood swings”, not sure where it is going. The value of the dollar is coming dangerously close to the famous 1920s Wiemar Republic currency inflation. The US, along with many other nations throughout the industrialized world, cannot sustain the deficits and/or pay back their loans. The Trump tariffs are already contributing to price inflation.

Gold and silver have risen recently, to levels not seen in decades and this trend will likely continue. Silver has now officially been named an “essential metal”, since it is used on solar panels, aviation and growing military technologies. The decades long “short” positions by investment banks and hedge funds in silver may be coming to an end. In spite of recent “corrections in the metals, I think the upward trend will continue.

History Rhymes:

Uranus retrogrades back into Taurus on November 7th until April 26, 2026, when it goes fully back into Gemini until May 23, 2033. Taurus, ruling land masses, wars over territories, real estate ownership, and environmental catastrophes. and attention on earth sciences, will bring back the crises we have been experiencing since it transited into this sign in March 2019. We have all seen it mimic its previous transit in the 1930s when the Third Reich rose in Germany, WWII broke out in Europe, and the devastating Dust Bowl crisis moved across the US. It has also highlighted and even repeated a similar rise in dictatorships and Fascism across the world that accompanied that previous era.

We recently avoided another Great Depression through tricky maneuvers that moved our nation’s profits and fortunes into the funds of the billionaire class, cut their taxes and moved manufacturing out of America to cheap labor abroad with no environmental restrictions. The Trump administration is correct about this. However, the Middle Class has nearly disappeared. Nearly nobody can afford health insurance any more. Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, funds to public education and infrastructure that got us out of the effects of that depression and WWII have either been cut or are threatened with disappearing all together. Most importantly, this administration has defunded the largest and most important American infrastructures for science, advanced technology and higher education in the world.

Next year, when Uranus is back in Gemini (and Neptune and Saturn will be back in Aries), the movements away from Fascism and back into Democracy will likely strengthen. We will have to fight for self-governance all over again, as we did with the American Revolution, the Civil War, and WWII, when Uranus previously transited this sign. Democracy won every time. However, the price for all this was the experiencing of massive painful upheavals — and we had to fight “wars.”

Science and Technology:

Online newsletter FUSION reports: “First Light achieves world’s first fusion result, proving unique new target technology.” It goes on to say:

OXFORD, UK:

“First Light Fusion, the University of Oxford fusion spin-out, today confirms it has achieved fusion. The UK Atomic Energy Authority has independently validated the result.” “Projectile fusion is a new approach to inertial fusion that is simpler, more energy efficient, and has lower physics risk.”

Recently in the US, there has been a move backed by Bill Gates and other billionaires into refurbishing or constructing Nuclear Fission plants, since we all know energy needs are growing exponentially across the world. These plants use Uranium and Plutonium, among the most toxic elements known to humankind.

I have pointed out that the last time Uranus transited through Gemini, we created the Manhattan Project with resulted in dropping the atomic bombs on Japan, using nuclear fission. Shortly thereafter, we developed the hydrogen bomb, using fusion. I am convinced the future of energy lies in nuclear fusion with no toxic pollution and have been informing my readership with information about these fusion sites throughout the world. I will continue to report on the progress in this field.

On Oct. MIT News, an article was posted entitled: “Concrete ‘battery’ developed at MIT now packs 10 times the power.” They go on to report: “Improved carbon-cement supercapacitors could turn the concrete around us into massive energy storage systems.” Andrew Paul Laurent explains: “An electron conducting carbon concrete (ec3) – based arch structure integrated supercapacitor electrodes for dual functionality … The prototype demonstrates both structural and load-bearing and the ability to power an LED, with the light’s intensity varying under applied load, highlighting the potential for real-time structural health monitoring via the supercapacitor.” The article goes on to say: “Electron conducting carbon concrete… could one day double as giant ‘batteries.’ It never ceases to amaze me how rapidly technology for energy production and storage is developing.

It has recently been reported that with our new advanced technologies, science now reveals that “gravitational waves” have actually shaped the universe. This is a profound discovery and p;resents a new framework for the cosmic reality we all share.

As I predicted in previous newsletters, it has been reported that a new strain of COVID-19, known as Stratus, has become dominant nationwide. It has most recently appeared in Connecticut, Delaware, Nevada, and Utah.

We are living in the “interesting times” proclaimed in the Chinese Curse. The world is in upheaval, and nation-states are in an “identity crisis.” We do not like who we are, but very few know who they can or will be. Climate shifts are on the rise, and we have been unable, up to now, to do what it takes to modify our behavior that has contributed to it.

It would seem hopeless. I do not believe in hopelessness. This kind of pain is necessary when great cycles change life on earth to make way for a new, more intelligent, and more expansive human presence – an evolutionary leap in technology, science, and the capacity for compassion and expanded spiritual experiences.

The Trouble with Neptune

(Transiting in Aries, conjunct Saturn, Retrograde back into Pisces Oct. 21 until it moves forward, again into Aries Jan. 27, 2026, will conjunct Saturn in Aries again Feb. 14, 2026, remaining in Aries until May 2038)

Astrologers, through the ages, have always struggled with interpreting the fundamental components of the Sign of Pisces and its ruler, Neptune, the ancient God of the Oceans, with its legendary fogs, storms, and floods. Relating these symbols to “human nature”, Neptune would seem to move our minds and hearts into the extreme realms of creation and destruction; genius and insanity; paranormal experiences and addiction; inspiring dreams and nightmares. It rules the area of sleep, a necessity for good health, and which is now known to be a significant health “problem” for humans in this modern, high-pressure society.

Steering our personal journeys across the oceans of human consciousness becomes a challenge we are all destined to navigate. Some rise to this occasion by becoming great inventors, painters, film makers, writers/poets, musicians – all who are known to be subject to “mood swings” to “highs” beyond belief to “lows” that border on suicidal. The price for Neptune’s gifts is a high one to pay and thus brings us to ask for a remedy – retaining a core balance among the shifting winds and waters of life.

Another highly significant area for the stormy seas of Neptune to challenge our minds and hearts lies within the landscapes of the many various religions. Neptune’s territory lies within what we would call the “spiritual” areas of the human psyche, encompassing the world’s well-known historic religions, along with humankind’s exploration of consciousness in less conventional ways. This could unintentionally open us up to great deceptions — fear and hate of those who are “different”, isolationist religious cults, addiction, and any escape hatches from the more practical realities.

For decades, modern technology has diverted young people from interacting warmly with each other, as their eyeballs are “plastered” to screens and their time is spent essentially alone. As a result, millions are severely depressed and discouraged with themselves and their prospects for a better life. To add to the “confusion,” Neptune recently transited into Aries and then retrogrades back into Pisces until Feb. 14, 2026, when it goes back into Aries, remaining in this sign until May 2038. The transit into Aries would instill hope that we may “wake up”, toss our phones, and start afresh, meeting with each other in person!

Weapons of Mass Deception:

Accompanying the general discontent of populations with extreme economic and social inequalities, Neptune is a framework for hotbeds of scandals, deceptions, scams, fraud, and a great deal of pain when people “wake up” to the lies they have been told when they were “asleep” and the consequences of the “deceivers” that have taken over a large portion of the media, their economies, their government, and their lives.

The recent Epstein document scandal and exposure is only a small portion of what is to come. The Trump-influenced “firing” of Stephen Colbert and abolishing the 33-year-old Late Show, the highest rated show in’s time slot, ostensibly because it was not making money, is an example of our media being slashed and burned if it offends a president. Everyone who publicly criticizes this president gets sued, fired, put in jail, or pressured out of office. This behavior would remind us of the dictators of the 20^th Century, including Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin, and Mao. Currently, it reminds us of how Vladimir Putin has enslaved Russia.

Speaking of Putin – he seems to be getting what is on his “list” to “not” end the war in Ukraine, after his “red carpet” reception from Pres. Trump in Alaska. Reports have “exposed” Trump’s decades-long association with Putin and the “laundering” of Russian money through real estate transactions in the US. If Trump really cooperated with Ukraine and NATO, the questions arise as to what Putin could “release” about his previous “deals” with the president. All the “reality show” meetings with Europeans and Ukrainians are, essentially, meaningless.

Neptune recently went into Aries, conjunct Saturn, sextile Uranus and Pluto in July and August, initiating a wake-up call to the “weapons of mass deception” and the President. Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill” that is the biggest cutback in modern history of America’s social support systems for the public-at-large, education, medical research, innovation in technologies — avoiding taxation for a billionaire class of individuals who literally own about 80- 90% of this nation’s wealth. There are currently 800 billionaires in the USA.

Healthcare, already underfunded and over-priced, will fail most people, homelessness will become worse, prices on everything will rise (the result of tariffs), we will lose caregivers and farm workers, who are immigrants, rather than finding a pathway to citizenship for millions of hardworking people who form a support system for our economy. In addition, important local newspapers, especially in smaller towns and rural areas throughout the US, are closing down.

Along with all this, ICE, under Trump, has become an organization resembling the police force in Nazi Germany in the 1930s, arresting and detaining immigrant populations throughout the nation. Trump’s imposition of a Gestapo-like federal takeover of Washington, DC. policing is only one example of what is to come. He is threatening to send National Guard Troops to Chicago and Baltimore, even though he does not have the legal power to do this. He claims this is to combat crime, but crime has been going down in the past five years.

Too many people seem to be backing down, afraid to speak up, swimming around in a sea of silence! The looming question: can we really change all this?

The Economy and Neptune as the “flow” of money:

There are giant mergers on the horizon — especially in the mass media, fossil fuel corporations, and financial platforms; further emphasizing the “monopoly economy” and concentrating money and power even further into the accounts of the very few. There is nobody in this administration or in the Congress’s current majority willing to challenge this trend. Fertility rates, thought to be due to lessening opportunities for young people to be financially successful, and women being employed in full-time jobs with little child care support, have dropped to a historic low of 1.6 children per woman in the US and are dropping across the developed world.

Trump’s effort is to ostensibly get rid of “fraud and abuse” in all the previously written into law and funded by Congress programs like Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, USAID, funding for food for the poor, and education for the handicapped — is knee-capping our nation’s people across the board. — The defunding in Trump’s bill of PBS and NPR – arguably the most intellectually refined and non-biased media organization is a tragedy. Trump is also halting money for science and medicine in the nation’s leading universities, most recently Duke University, at a time when many of these agencies are on the verge of curing cancer. Health Secretary, RFK has de-funded ongoing research into COVID and stopped funding vaccines, just as a new type of the virus is emerging in parts of the US.

Markets are likely to go down mid-September through mid-October with Mercury and Venus opposing Saturn. Inflation will be rising. There are indications of recession lying ahead.

Trump’s Protection Racket:

All this is a continuation of his extortion or “protection racket”, forcing these institutions to pay him money to get back the government funding he withholds, or he will “sue” them for so-called ethnic discrimination in the courts. Knowing the Supreme Court favors Trump, and rather than paying large fees for lawyers, these institutions usually give in to get their funding back. Our national park system, arguably one of America’s greatest historical achievements, has experienced about 2/3 of its employees being laid off, along with young people working in Americorps being defunded and sent home, who have, for decades, generously worked repairing the parks. More deafening silence surrounds America.

Recently, Trump has decided to impose large tariffs on India, one of our greatest trading partners for decades and multiple presidential administrations, ostensibly because they are currently buying oil from a “sanctioned” Russia (on whom, IRONICALLY, Trump refuses to impose further sanctions). I would suspect there are other shady “deals” on the horizon.

Since the richest Americans are enjoying their extensive tax breaks, none of this is helping reduce our giant deficits. On August 12, the Treasury Department released the fact that US debt has climbed past $37 trillion!

The Crypto Revolution:

The re-framing of cryptocurrencies with a modicum of regulation (the advent of Stable Coin) is a move I predicted with respect to the movement of Pluto into Aquarius and Uranus into Gemini. Bitcoin is still traded as a commodity. There is nothing substantial supporting it. However, there is an inevitable move of money away from cash and paper checks and into online currency, credit, and debit cards that has been expanding for decades. There are rumors that Stable Coin will ultimately become the “dollar” and will be backed by US Treasuries ( the valuation of which our massive debt is severely reducing), or gold, whose value per troy ounce will increase exponentially.

This area is still highly “Neptunian” in that questions arise as to how currency is “backed” and what quality of cyber-security exists to ensure the safety of all these transactions. There is still an astonishing amount of confusion and vagueness here.

Interestingly, China is now the nation with the most gold holdings. They are looking to become the most powerful nation on earth and may be waiting for a gold-backed yuan to become the world’s currency, replacing the dollar. There are also the Arab nations moving out of the dollar into a mix of other currencies.

The “Real” Energy Crisis:

An issue rarely discussed in the media is: Where are we going to get the astonishing amount of energy needed to support Artificial Intelligence and cryptocurrency? Just for these two things, all natural fossil resources that are currently warming the planet will be “used up” in just a few years, which would ensure the collapse of our civilization. Trump has de-funded efforts toward non-fossil fuel alternatives and has degraded the “green and sustainable” movements in every way he can. My take is that NUCLEAR FUSION will be ready to come online just in time to save the world.

Where is the Money Coming From?

Without significant tax money coming in from the wealthiest Americans who hold about 90% of this nation’s wealth, the Big Beautiful Bill increases this nation’s debt to levels that it will be impossible to sustain. How to tax this wealth is and has been a monumental problem. You cannot tax unrealized capital gains, but you can tax wealth transfers, especially the massive amounts of inherited wealth whose gains escape currently through multiple loopholes. This is not on the agenda of the government we currently have in power.

This is why Trump wants the Federal Reserve to lower interest rates, as we can hardly afford to pay the interest on our massive debt, and the dollar’s reserve currency status is threatened. In September, Mercury will oppose Saturn, and Mars will be inconjunct to Saturn, which may point to sell-offs in the Financial Markets through October 10th, when Venus is in opposition to Saturn. I do not foresee something as severe as the 2008 crash, but there is considerable uncertainty surrounding the debt crisis; confusion is likely to abound. Neptune wins again!

Back to the Future:

The question looms: Will the US go back to gold to “back the dollar? Recently, people have been buying gold and even silver as a safety play. As stated above, China currently owns huge stashes of gold, giving it a decided advantage in global trade and moving it away from dollar dependency. They may have been among the “behind-the-scenes” manipulators in the past, holding down the prices of gold and silver.

Meanwhile, there is an investigation underway as to how much gold is really in Fort Knox, and there are unofficial reports of moving gold there, off the “radar”. Silver has been suppressed for decades by the Central Banks. It is an essential metal in the manufacture of solar panels, military applications, and many other technologies. It is also finally showing positive activity. Our massive, unsustainable federal debt may push us in new, unexpected directions.

In July of 2026 (through July 2027), Jupiter transits Leo, which is bullish for gold and suggests some kind of new movement toward increasing the value of gold, as mentioned above, possibly to back the dollar. I will discuss this in future newsletters.

Neptune – the God of Winds, Storms, earthquakes, and volcanoes:

Since the Lunar Eclipse conjunct the US Neptune and opposition Saturn back in March, we have been experiencing major climate catastrophes across our nation, especially in the global South. Massive wildfires broke out again this summer in Oregon, California, and Canada. The two eclipses this September and October are strongly connected to Neptune, which is conjunct Saturn, suggesting more severe hurricanes and storms in coastal regions. Major fires are burning around and in the Grand Canyon. In addition, volcanoes in the US are showing activity, including the Iliamna Volcano on the coast of Alaska and Mt. Rainier in the State of Washington.

Outside the US, the March Mandalay 7.7 earthquake that took place in Myanmar was felt all the way to Thailand and China. The Icelandic volcano is erupting again. Last March’s Lunar Eclipse in Virgo, opposite both Saturn and Neptune, has foretold these possibilities. Recently, the 8.8-second largest earthquake ever recorded took place in Russia, and a volcano erupted there that had not erupted in 600 years, all triggering waves in the Pacific that included the west coast of the US. The Conjunction of Saturn to Neptune cycle continues through February 2026.

Late October into early November, the transit of Mars in Scorpio alongside Mercury, plus Mercury Sep. 18 and Venus hitting the March Eclipse degree Oct. 8 and opposing Saturn that is back in Pisces, would suggest severe storms hitting coastal regions in the US.

The Best Side of Neptune:

Alongside the planet Uranus, Neptune’s expansive imagination would also open us up to great breakthroughs in quantum physics, chemistry, astronomy, technologies like Artificial Intelligence, space travel, and nuclear fusion. There are “fears” emerging in connection with AI becoming a reality, and thousands of lost jobs are already appearing, with a current stream of layoffs, especially in technology. Other jobs will emerge in the future, involving upgrading and repairing infrastructure across our nation.

In addition, new manufacturing is coming back into the US — like the Micron chips plant in Clay, New York, and is creating new employment possibilities. In that same central New York area, a new yogurt plant and a new dairy corporation are building plants in anticipation of the growth in the upstate NY area. Apple Computer announced in August that they are bringing back two manufacturing plants to the US. We need to tap into the human imagination to create new frameworks for modern economies.

Science and Technology:

In “Wired” posted July 20, 2025, an article by Charlie Wood entitled “The Hunt for a Fundamental Theory of Quantum Gravity” was posted. He reports: “Black hole and Big Bang singularities break our best theory of gravity. A trilogy of theorems hints that physicists must go to the ends of space and time to find a fix.” This article is worth reading, although I cannot predict that most of us will understand this “clash of theorems” and alternate views of reality. It is simply amazing where these scientists are going, what they are finding, and how “quantifying” reality poses a real challenge. We go here to stretch our minds!

It was recently reported on Google News that a “not natural” interstellar object named 31/ATLAS (about 7 miles long), heading toward us, is aimed to go just past Earth and could be here by Christmas. It would seem to be “self-propelled and directed”, but we will not know for sure until its arrival within our Solar System. Beam me up, Scottie!

It has been recently announced that breakthroughs in cancer cures connected to MRNA technology are getting good results in laboratory testing and clinical trials. As stated above, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr has de-funded these projects.

Reported in the Sustainability Times on Aug. 24, 2025, an article was presented: “In a landmark effort to revolutionize energy production, Type One Energy has unveiled its Infinity Two Stellarator fusion reactor, poised to generate 350 megawatts of clean electricity and potentially reshape the future of sustainable power.” It goes on to report: “At the core of the Infinity Two reactor is its reliance on stellarator fusion technology, a method that has shown the capability to support stable and continuous energy production. This approach is built on successful experiments with machines like the W7-X, which have demonstrated the viability of steady-state fusion processes.” It would be worth your effort to read this entire article, which illustrates how close we are to achieving the fusion breakthrough, arguably the “Holy Grail” of energy production.

Final Thoughts:

It is my perception that most of this nation’s people are currently paralyzed and in shock as a real and present dictatorship has taken over America, seemingly with little or no effective resistance. Much of this is due to what we are discovering that is NOT in the Constitution – direct limits on presidential power. The “separation of powers” we thought would keep this at bay only works when the powers are separated. Trumpism has taken over the Congress, and the Supreme Court has essentially ruled that nobody can stop a president from committing crimes while he is in office.

The Democrats have been fighting among themselves, between their original, further to the “left” populist origins and those closer to Wall Street because of their need to have their campaigns financed by the richest Americans. At least, they are coming out strongly against Republicans’ gerrymandering in Texas, by gerrymandering in California – fighting fire with fire. Illinois Gov. Pritzker is making effective speeches against this administration. Gov. Gavin Newsom is among the few really standing up to the White House. Democrats need a unifying message across the nation to bring people together and back to the polls. They also need strong, gutsy, charismatic leadership.

Since the end of WWII, America has led the world in economic development, academia, scientific research, inventions, and effective efforts to make democracy work. These efforts are now being removed, and these great achievements are now all being challenged, just at the time when global climate catastrophes are developing, and significant wars have broken out in Palestine and Ukraine, all threatening our lives here on earth.

We are now fighting the American Revolution for democracy all over again. New versions of Washington, Lincoln, and the Roosevelts may emerge into positions of leadership – young people with the brains, the guts, and the moral dimension to lead the way out of the current “dark night of the soul.” They can and they probably will.

Will we evolve or go extinct? That is the question!

WE GO TO WAR!

(July 7, 2025 – Nov. 7, 2025; April 26, 2026 – Aug. 4, 2032, Dec. 12, 2032 – May 22, 2033.)

Truth or Lies, Revelations or Deceptions:

In order to understand how profound this transit is for humanity, we need to look at the previous periods relevant to us when our ancestors experienced their journey historically through those times. Uranus moved through Gemini during the American Revolution, the Civil War, and during and following World War II. It appears in the origin chart of the USA and is a signature impacting our history, heritage, and looming issues that have both defined us and challenged us throughout our existence as a nation.

This transit is so important to human civilization that, along with Pluto in Aquarius, it would symbolize a paradigm shift in human consciousness that launches us fully into the realms of AI, robots, space travel, genetic engineering, nuclear fusion — and even transformations moving our notions of “reality” into the amazing world of “quantum entanglement.” This transit, along with Pluto in Aquarius and Neptune in Aries in a cooperative relationship with each other, lends hope that we will step up to the plate and be the best we can be.

The Challenges that Lie in Information:

Starting in the 1980s, with the development of personal Computers, cell phones, and the Internet, all available to people in developed nations throughout the world, we entered a previously unknown landscape of opportunity for both good and evil. Laws and/or regulations to hold people responsible for telling the truth were either absent or removed. What is now installed in these devices goes primarily to sell products or services that make big money, since that is the current lynch pin for an economy based on unregulated capitalism. Even evils like human trafficking, extortion, and child pornography are widespread and seemingly unstoppable. Politicians, who have always exaggerated their promises, are now allowed to lie with a degree of consistency we have never seen before. The adage – “Tell a lie often enough and people will eventually believe it” is, sadly, proving that it works!

The Imperial Presidency:

Millions of young people have lost the ability to think critically, reflecting on our society’s failure to offer quality education for all, regardless of their economic status. Their eyeballs are simply “plastered” on their cell phones, while they have not comprehensively studied history, civics, or even grasped basic skill sets, and are too often unable to even pass exams or submit term papers if and when they get to college. The average IQ recorded in the US is now 94.

The US elected a self-proclaimed autocrat to the presidency in 2024. We now have a nation that cannot comprehend what it takes to sustain a successful democracy. Pres. Trump’s challenges to nationwide injunctions on the part of lower courts forbidding him to end constitutionally assured birthright citizenship have won — as the Supreme Court ruled that Trump has the right to effectively end compliance with nationwide injunctions.. This court continues to seem to have forgotten “separation of powers” and continues to extend executive power over the power of the courts. As Uranus moves into Gemini, there will be a growing body of protest to this, just as the American colonists protested the authority of King George.

The Threat of Wars:

The last time this Uranus transit took place was in wartime and the post-WWII era. America fought courageously in WWII against Fascism. Afterwards, the US made enormous investments in public education, the GI Bill enabling veterans to go to college, a coast-to-coast highway system, public transportation — all Gemini themes. This helped the US become the most successful economy in the world and created a prosperous middle class.

Now, following the Transit of Uranus in Taurus, we are witnessing a reversal in all this public investment, “dumbing down” the nation, creating the widest wealth gap between the billionaire class and the general public in our history, all of which would point toward the reversal of our remarkable gains. Now is the time and even the opportunity to reverse this downward spiral. Uranus often SHOCKS us as it symbolizes the “wake up” and “come alive” planet!

Currently, we are operating on the fringes of two major wars – the Israeli/Palestinian,/Iran War and the Russia/Ukraine War. This transit will cast a light on how far we will go militarily.

Uranus the Genius:

As stated above, this transit of Uranus blends harmoniously with Pluto in Aquarius and Neptune and Saturn in Aries – all signs of youth, energy, innovation, and fearless breakthroughs. The planets highlight curiosity, defying old, outworn norms in education, and leading the way to reforming our institutions, which are truly in need of major changes. This does NOT work well with the attempts of the Trump administration to erase funding, discredit, and blow up all our best universities, museums, scientific research institutions, and degrade the efforts of our greatest scientists, intellectuals, and thinkers. It does suggest the emergence of new and younger leaders, just in time to both improve and reassemble these institutions, arguably the best in the world. Recently, 33-year-old Progressive Liberal Zohran Mamdani won the Democratic primary for Mayor in New York City. This was a surprise “shake-up” typical of Uranus.

We will examine new systems of schooling that are more relevant and empowering — training that would encourage the trades and local entrepreneurship – made possible through affordable county colleges that offer two-year associate degrees assuring business acumen, licensing for electricians, plumbers, and builders, green agriculture and farming businesses, and are affordable to their student bodies.

We should continue to empower our advanced universities and scientific institutions, laying out a landscape of learning, research, expansion, and progress in solving the world’s most serious problems. I have been proposing this in all my books and many of my newsletters since 2007, and it is only recently that public discussions concerning this are being put into TV programming.

The mandate of Uranus is to transform us and lead the way to greater ideas and modes of thinking. We will REVISIT the ideal of democracy and what it entails, which will remind us that a government “by and for the people” requires the people to be informed, awake, and intelligent enough to act in their interests.

What Now?

The current transit of Mars in Virgo:

June 18 through Aug. 6.

This disturbing transit of Mars in Virgo will pass throughout our lives, inconjunct both Pluto (crisis/upheaval) and Saturn/Neptune (structure/flow), requiring us to make adjustments to conditions we normally cannot control. Pres. Trump’s bombing of nuclear sites in Iran will experience a backlash. In addition, Virgo is a sign concerned with labor and health issues, presenting us with a crisis in both realms. Trump’s arrest of undocumented immigrants has slashed the labor force across our nation, especially in healthcare services, hospitality, farming, and construction industries, forcing these people into hiding.

Because of the theme of health issues, there may be a widespread contagious illness (not a pandemic) that could take its toll on both animals and people. Problems in healthcare will emerge to haunt us, and we will begin to see the consequences of slashes in programs like Medicare, Medicaid, and the cutting of our institutes of health and medical research, along with the deadly vaccine reduction programs of Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. Ironically, President Trump may suffer from a temporary health crisis.

The transit of Jupiter in Cancer:

June 10, 2025 – June 29, 2026

I will comment on this transit in upcoming newsletters as it makes its way through all our lives. This placement is considered “exalted” in astrological traditions for its generosity and expansion of nurture, family security, nutrition, and rain coming to dry areas. The downside is the prospect of extreme flooding of inland waterways.

The USA birth chart has Jupiter/Sun/Venus all in Cancer, which would explain many of our historic good fortunes through the years. Right now, we need all the help we can get as the current government has been “blowing up” our greatest and most acclaimed institutions, and slashing programs for the public-at-large in favor of tax breaks for the extremely rich persons whose monopolies dominate our economy.

Last month, the “No King” movement swept this nation’s cities in the biggest public protest in our history. Cancer is a sign concerned with safety at all costs, and we are in the middle of a historic crisis with environmental extinctions, escalating wars, and climate catastrophes. Americans tend to support presidents, initially, when they go to war, and traditional patriotic fervor will be in the mix. Trump’s motivation for this attack on Iran may be part of the reason for this looming war.

The Economy:

The massive and corrosive DEBT that lies within the very structure of our government is also shared with personal debts shared by the public-at-large and corporations who borrow money to buy back and hike up their stock prices. We have all noticed how inflation is ballooning, the dollar is falling in value, and gold and silver (as a safe play) are rising at rates not seen in multiple decades. Cryptocurrencies that have no real backing will also suffer wild swings to new highs, accompanied by hard falls. Recently, President. Trump made a “deal” with China, favoring trade with the US in rare earths, which are an absolute necessity for all our technologies. China controls about 90% of the rare earths and their processing.

The Trump tariffs, even if modified, are making matters much worse, even as the president has insulted many world leaders and heads of state, breaking alliances and trade agreements that have sustained us since the end of WWII. His threats of deportation of hundreds of thousands of previously legal immigrant students and undocumented migrants will backfire, as this will decrease labor markets, especially in agriculture, and destroy the credibility of the American legal system. His attacks on our leading universities and cultural icons are causing foreign students to flee to other nations, taking their brains and expertise with them.

Trump and the Republican controlled Congress holding onto obscene tax breaks for billionaires in this bill in Congress is destroying the US budget credibility domestically and abroad. Meanwhile, as stated above, the erosion and destruction of all the systems helping most Americans, i.e., Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, scientific research, education, and food assistance, etc., are a sacrifice too big for most Americans to bear.

Because of serious hyperinflation, an economic downturn and a threat to the viability of the dollar lie ahead. The big news, however, will be the crashing of real estate markets in parts of the nation most subject to climate catastrophes, mainly in the global South, such as Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, Louisiana, California, and Florida. Homeowners’ insurance has become too expensive, and continued high interest rates are turning buyers away. In addition, too many people cannot afford to buy a home at current prices, which means prices will have to fall.

Mercury goes retrograde July 16^th through August 10^th, advising all of us not to start a new project, sign an important document, or make significant decisions. Mars is square Venus on July 21^st, not good for the stock markets.

This summer, I actually see the emergence of new ideas, new people, and new solutions that will not fully come into view until 2026. Watch this period for clues of what is to come!

Science and Technology:

On May 16, 2025, an article was posted on the Jason Deegan High-Tech News entitled: “China’s artificial sun just set a nuclear fusion record that changes everything.” It goes on to say: “In a remarkable scientific leap, Chinese researchers have broken a world record by maintaining a superheated plasma for over 17 minutes – an achievement that marks a new milestone in the long and complex journey toward commercial nuclear fusion. The feat, accomplished inside a machine known as EAST (Experimental Advanced Superconducting Tokamak), has the global fusion community buzzing with cautious optimism.”

Recently posted on Earth.com, an article entitled “Massive hydrogen reserves discovered beneath Earth’s mountains” informs us of the enormous breakthrough in energy through the retrieval and use of hydrogen. The article reveals: “We are at the threshold of introducing a revolutionary change in worldwide energy manufacturing by identifying these hydrogen resources.” Dr. Frank Swaan (geodynamic modeler at CTZ Hjeimholtte Center) reports: “ These deposits are found beneath rift-inversion orogens in mountain ranges that formed when once stretched crust was later squeezed back together… areas like the Pyrenees, Alps, and Balkans.” Hydrogen is used in nuclear fusion, battery technology, and hydrogen fuel cells – all pointing to a green energy revolution and the end of the use of fossil fuel.

On Yahoo.com, TCT, an article by Amy Boyington was posted entitled “Tiny pieces of plastic might be aging us from the inside out.” She reports: “A new scientific review published in Food and Chemical Toxicology suggests that microplastics and nanoplastics may accelerate aging at the cellular level. Scientists are investigating how these particles found in water, food, and dust affect the body over time.” This kind of information is so overwhelming for most of us to absorb. Processes of filtration, water purification, and various site cleanups will eventually come to the forefront as necessary to our collective survival!

In recent months, it has been reported on numerous sites that on the walls of a Paleolithic cave in Lascaux, France, a 40,000-year-old set of murals accurately depicting a star map of the Pleiades, Orion, and Taurus constellations has been found and photographed. These drawings are dated at about 17,000 BCE and are amazing for their astronomical accuracy. In these eras, it is thought the skies were examined to track seasons for planting, harvesting, and migrating, even though this dates to before the agricultural revolution. Astrology is derived from all this, as the constellations are relevant to what is happening in our lives here on earth. This would confirm what I often say to my clients — that I am in the “second oldest profession!”

Recently, Scientific American’s custom media published a pamphlet entitled “New Horizons in Safety Science”, stating: “Novel solutions are needed to safeguard Earth’s security, health — and future.” The articles in this publication are entitled: “Rethinking Fire Protection, How to Reduce Digital Dangers, and New Safeguards for Global Health.” The current transit of Jupiter in Cancer would encompass and enhance this information!

Last month, on CBS’s 60 Minutes, a report on an exciting and inspiring solution to affordable and sustainable housing was aired. A specially designed cement mixture was used as a material and constructed by 3-D PRINTING, solving many problems of energy efficiency, lasting weather-proof material, not having to pay for many expensive construction materials, etc. Developments are already being constructed that are visually pleasing and are selling in various locations. This option is truly worth considering.

Weather and Climate:

The week of July 20^th, Venus and Mars will square the Moon’s Nodal Axis, pointing to earthquakes, volcanoes erupting, and serious storms developing. Over the past 6 months, we have had an inordinate number of tectonic events occurring throughout the world.

Those of us experiencing our lives in this historic era — self-absorbed, unaware of what our history would cry out to tell us, worshiping the dynastic rich and the tribal narrow-minded, trapped within a technological tangle of useless and often paralyzing information — now need to look at heroes of the American Revolution, two world wars, and statesmen of conscience, who reached beyond their times. These people who sacrificed their comfort and their very lives for a notion that freedom of critical thinking, equality of opportunity, and respect for one another were the components of a shining human presence here on earth.

As each historic holiday presents itself, we look at the few men and women left who fought in WW11, who survived the Holocaust, whose generations built highways and infrastructures, financed advanced education and healthcare, and built America into the greatest economy and highest standard of living the world had ever seen. Now, these few persons in wheelchairs still salute the flag, honor their generation’s dead, and whisper in their low voices that they would do it all over again.

We need these hearts and minds to re-emerge in the souls of our young people today. The legacy is theirs, and the future is in their hands. I see them waking up, getting up, rising up, navigating their way out of a morass of wars, hatreds, and hopelessness that have been with us for far too long. The brand new planetary pictures are emerging in the sky to light the way into the next American revolution and the next possible evolutionary leap for humankind.

The Beginning of the Beginning

ARIES is the first sign of the Zodiac, ushering in the Spring Equinox. It symbolizes a new birth; a brand new start, youthful exuberance and impulsiveness, a fresh start. Its ruler, Mars, is the ancient “God of War” and is part of the trilogy of fire signs (including Leo and Sagittarius) supporting sports, the military, overt competition, and personal self-expression. By nature, it is extroverted and friendly, tends to be self-absorbed, but refreshingly honest, resembling all the traits of the young, foolish, and brash. Aries is the “race car driver, the Olympic champion, the short distance runner.

Sun in Aries persons are often “pioneers.” They like to be the first to think of something new, comprising a “breakthrough” in science, advanced technology, and the arts. However, they are frequently impatient and often have a short attention span — needing the support of teams of other people to bring their ideas and inventions fully to fruition. Two well-known Aries Sun people are Leonardo Da Vinci and Thomas Jefferson – both historic geniuses, but who struggled with “finishing” the projects they started.

Neptune is a planet concerned with “dreams”, ideals, visions, fantasies, and often losses, feelings of victimization, and disillusionment. Saturn is a planet that projects itself as a solid organization, secure system, proven authority that can “take charge”, but also can feel fearful, overly constrained, and depressed. These two planets are often at odds with one another and very seldom have a warm and cozy relationship! Their more recent conjunction in Pisces has brought out sadness, losses, many iconic deaths, and a kind of collective despair; masses of people feeling that they have been the victim of those who would “twist” the truth!

Saturn conjunct Neptune would seem like a “doomed couple” except that Pluto, now in Aquarius and Uranus shortly going into Gemini, are both in harmony with them, ramping up this pair with a youthful genius, new inventions and breakthroughs, and a willingness to communicate a multitude of ideas both great and small. Both Pluto and Uranus are returning to their positions in the charts of the United States of America – July 4, 1776 (Declaration of Independence) through September 3, 1783 (The Treaty of Paris). Ultimately, these adventurous companions could translate into the Second American Revolution and present to us what it takes to formulate a real and working democracy, create new, more viable economies around enormous technological breakthroughs, all in the 21^st Century. In my opinion, this is a “wow” team!

The Turning of the Ages

Those of you who have read my previous newsletters and books are acquainted with the grand notion that we are entering the Age of Aquarius, a 2100 year cycle in a backward movement (through the constellations) of the Vernal Equinox. However, this period is also ending a 5200-year cycle, a 12,000-year cycle, and a 26,000-year cycle documented in various histories, religions, and cultures that tell us about the rise and fall of nations and civilizations. These periods are usually accompanied by climate changes, such as the beginning and ending of ice ages, flooding, droughts, and asteroid collisions. earthquake and volcanic cycles.

The hard part is being alive and awake in the transition of ages, when all the systems of belief, economic paradigms, technologies, and “sacred cows” are “exposed” as failing and no longer relevant to our survival and development — right in front of our eyes! We are startled, disturbed, shaken, angry, upset, and for many people, it spells death and dying. For others, it is exciting, revealing, inspiring, and presents all of us with the possibility of an evolutionary “leap” in consciousness that could go so far as to reveal a new, more advanced human “species” appearing in our time. Big decisions lie ahead!

What Now?

With “Trumponomics” blowing up every alliance and institution the US has built within itself and around the world, many people are feeling the above-mentioned anger and despair. Elon Musk’s DOGE mindlessly destroying government departments that ensure the survival and protection of most Americans is extremely devastating and unpopular. The veritable collapse of Medicaid alone will devastate the lives of needy, chronically ill, and handicapped people. This program funds healthcare for over 80 million people. Although Trump promised not to “touch” Social Security and Medicare, in reality, the firing of most of the personnel who implement these most cherished systems will force them to become nonfunctional. My take is that Americans will rise against all this. Musk has already “moved out” of Washington to address the public rebellions launched against Tesla throughout the nation.

The March Lunar Eclipse on the Neptune of the US in Virgo, which rules healthcare, has presented us with a major tragedy, which is the “gutting” of the National Institute of Health (NIH), the largest medical research organization in the world. Funding goes out from this agency to our major research universities for cures for infectious diseases, cancer, Alzheimer’s, heart disease, etc. The greatest medical researchers and scientists on earth are now migrating out of the US to other nations.

Trump’s 19th-century isolationist, tariff-protected view, which has historically never worked, is, according to the world’s leading economists, an exercise in craziness! His willingness to deport or sue anyone seen to be an “alien” or opposed to him is resulting in a multitude of cases going through the court system all the way to the Supreme Court! His threats to take over Canada as the 51^st State has resulted in the election of the Liberal Carney as Prime Minister, in defiance of all this. His brutal attack on liberal education, our monumentally great science research institutions, people’s rights to protest, and education in general, proposing itself as fighting “anti-Semitism” is an irony that resembles Hitler’s attack in the 1930s on professors, scientists, and universities in Germany which he claimed were dominated by Jews. Most of these decisions are being processed in the courts. The Rule of Law is being tested.

The Economy:

Last month, markets crashed, millions protested, and — guess what? This country woke up to the consequences of decades of gathering power in the hands and accounts of a billionaire class whose possessions now comprise around 80 – 90% of this nation’s wealth. The House and the Senate are controlled by Republicans who want to cut everything that helps the public in favor of tax cuts for billionaires.

Meanwhile, most young people cannot afford rent or housing. Lurking behind all this are the giant corporations. BlackRock, Vanguard, and State Street own $20 trillion in assets, more than the entire GDP of the United States! These giant funds are famous for buying retail stores, nursing homes, apartment complexes, hospitals, and other assets, borrowing huge amounts of money that they do not pay back, and then going bankrupt, closing down the viable stores and medical facilities all over the country. This should be declared “criminal” behavior, except that these are, ironically, the techniques Trump used in his real estate empire.

The US dollar and its treasuries are being “sold” and the dollar as the world’s currency is losing its its “safe harbor” status. Our national debt is gigantic. The European Union no longer trusts us. Japan is selling its US treasuries and no longer views us as stable. Thus, our place as the center of the global economy is at risk. Ironically, the only nation that would replace us is China. However, their currency is not strong either, and they are in even deeper debt than the US. Interestingly, they hold a lot of gold and have been accumulating much of it in recent months as a hedge against all of this.

Trump wants to take over Greenland for its “rare earths,” which are absolutely necessary in the manufacture of our computers, cell phones, jet fighters, and military hardware. This shortage is so serious that new and dangerous undersea mining operations (article below) are being built in the world’s oceans. Even more serious, is the fact that we have no infrastructure for processing of these metals, which is currently being done only in China.

The Democrats, after sluggishly “hiding out” in the wings, are starting to emerge with new energy. Young people are finding a new sense of direction, which is: a change to the system that could move us toward a real democracy. Older citizens are demonstrating in the streets and at events to protect their Social Security and Medicare benefits — things they all thought were protected by legislation that has been present for decades. American corporations, especially chip manufacturers, are breaking ground in the US, in New York and Arizona. Trump is claiming credit for this, which began in the Biden administration under legislation like the “Chips Act.”

Trump’s approval ratings are sinking among Republicans, Democrats, and Independents. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth keeps exhibiting dangerously “crazy” behavior, calling attention to Trump’s disastrous picks for many of his cabinet members. Many of the sacred cows of yesteryear are moving into a dangerous fog bank, and it all needs clarification. However, the Democrats still do not have a majority in either of the houses of Congress and cannot change this until 2026.

The economy is in free-fall. I still think investment in gold, silver, and real estate are places to be as the dollar sinks in value and inflation continues. With Mars in Leo (the gambler) until the middle of June, wild fluctuations (both extreme ups and downs) in the financial markets will continue. What characterizes this year’s economy are extremes – ups and downs, uncertainty. China’s rise, as the result of our policies will highlight their economic power in the world. On top of all this, the wars in Gaza and Ukraine continue to plague us.

What do the stars say?

Pres. Trump’s astrological chart is startlingly similar to that of Mad King George, who was the monarch of England at the time of the American Revolution. I have mentioned this in previous newsletters, but I find this both humorous and tragic. Do we want a government “by and for the people” or one ruled by a Fascist monarch? King George is back, challenging us again!

There will be many changes and reversals in policies connected to tariffs, alliances, and military engagements, depending on the “deals” he makes with nations, some of whom will be compliant and others that will not. This Gemini president is a shape-shifter. There is one consistency. It is his demand of loyalty to him at all costs. In my previous newsletter, I pointed out the eclipses connected to his chart that are seriously destabilizing. I also called attention to possible new disease epidemics. The current wave of decisions on the part of many people not to vaccinate has resulted in measles spreading around the country for the first time in decades, as has whooping cough. I would predict that when Mars goes into Virgo in July through early August, this cycle will become more evident.

The efforts to make a deal with Iran concerning its nuclear development will continue, but will suffer many stumbling blocks. The theocratic government of Iran is a central part of the Israeli/Palestinian War as they supply Hamas and other terror groups throughout the region with weapons. The transit of Mars in Leo through June 16 makes matters worse, as this encourages Israel to destroy what is left of the West Bank. I do not see any peace agreements until the week of August 10^th.

At the time of Pres. Trump’s birthday, (June 14), during the first two weeks of June, Mars is conjunct his Natal Mars and square transiting Uranus on his Mid-heaven, the area of his career and reputation. This poses a very real danger to his physical health and safety. Interestingly, he is planning a big birthday party parade for himself in June in Washington.

The Lunar Sabian Degrees:

The Full Moon on May 12 is 22 degrees Scorpio is described as: “A seated elf, one arm around a large book, looks quizzically at the viewer, then turns into a hare and hops through a stone wall.” My interpretation is that the movers of economies will be playing “mind games” with the public.

The New Moon on May 27 is 6 degrees Gemini is described as “An old man leans against a spreading tree by a well and smokes his pipe. Approached by a boy about a problem, he spins out a story that relates to the boy’s situation.” My take on this is that there may be a wise message from the old to the young about life and love that is presented as a show – either a play or a movie – that bridges the gap of generations.

The Full Moon on June 11 is in 20 degrees Sagittarius is described as: “A flapper in a crowded speakeasy convinces the owner to seat her in the balcony above the stage, along with the society set.” This degree is reminiscent of the 1920s and suggests a showy charmer exhibiting herself on the stage outside, disguising the malevolent gangsters hidden in the background. This configuration is on Pres. Trump’s Sun/Moon opposition.

The New Moon on June 25 is 4 degrees Cancer, described as “Radio blaring, teenagers in a souped-up convertible race a train to the crossroads. The owner of the local bar looks on in disgust, hands on his hips.” This would describe people taking radical measures with a thrill attached, that would offend wiser onlookers. Once again, the theme that stands out is one of immaturity and a dangerous lack of experience.

Science and Technology:

ON FEB. 3, 2025, in ECONEWS by Sanusha L., an article was published entitled “New type of nuclear fusion discovered: We could now produce infinite energy”. The article reports: “As energy needs expand and the quest for abundant, sustainable energy sources increasingly turns to fusion, the Small Aspect Ratio Tokamak (Smart) represents a significant step forward. The first plasma has been achieved recently by this experimental fusion device, an incredible milestone, developed by researchers at the Plasma Science and Fusion Technology Laboratory of the University of Seville. SMART, unlike the traditional tokamak, investigates the unprecedented idea of negative triangularity, a configuration that could revolutionize the energy efficiency of fusion.”

The article discusses problems with tokamak technology and then goes on to report: “SMART is the first compact tokamak intentionally designed to investigate the advantages of negative triangularity. The expectation is that this shape of plasma will suppress ELMS, resulting in better plasma confinement for longer periods, at higher temperatures (like this artificial sun, which is 100 million degrees and has a strange effect.) It goes on to say: “This configuration has already been noted as promising by the US Department of Energy for alleviating instabilities while keeping high fusion performance.”

As all of you who read my newsletters already know, I have made it my business to report on the ongoing development and progress in fusion for years, as fusion has been called “The Holy Grail” of energy and will truly change the world.

IN THE MAY 2025 ISSUE of SCIENTIFIC AMERICAN, an article entitled “Deep-Sea Mining Begins” by Willem Marx was published. He reports: “The owners of a controversial mining license have begun extracting valuable metals from the ocean floor.” The rush to mine and control “rare earths” is now a major issue, involving all the developed nations throughout the world. Without these metals, our civilization, as we know it, would collapse. However, the damage to our ecosystems could be devastating if this practice becomes widespread. It is worth reading this article to familiarize ourselves with what is currently happening.

AN ARTICLE in DAILY GALAXY was posted April 25, 2025 by Arezki Amiri entitled “James Webb Telescope Confirms a Troubling Anomaly: Something is Seriously Wrong with Our Understanding of the Universe”. He reports: “The James Webb Space Telescope just confirmed a shocking revelation about the universe’s expansion rate. This discovery shakes the very foundations of modern cosmology. New data may force a major rethink of everything we thought we knew about the cosmos.” The article explores a perplexing problem in cosmology referred to as the Hubble Tension. This is a term that would describe the ongoing conflict between two different methods of measuring the rate at which the universe is expanding. This article contains new data that “indicates that the discrepancy between the two measurement methods is real, and not a result of faulty data or miscalculations.” It would be worthwhile for you to read the whole article to understand that these discoveries point out how little we know about the origin and future of our expanding universe. As part of the astrological community, I am on the side of a basic energetic connection between and among all entities that are synchronized within the cosmos and that have meaning in our lives.

Natural Events:

Last month, the Icelandic volcano erupted again, a huge earthquake (7.7) took place in Myanmar that was felt in Thailand and China; the Mt. Kilowaha volcano is erupting again in Hawaii, and there was a 5.5 earthquake in the Los Angeles area. This supports my predictions about this time period in my last newsletter.

This period May 1 through June 10 supports high winds, tornadoes, and even preseason hurricanes sweeping over the US. Jupiter moving into Cancer for a full year (June 10, 2025 – June 29, 2026) suggests flooding of inland rivers and coastal regions. It could be a good thing for ending droughts in the Southern US.

Final Thoughts:

The respect, unity, economic dominance, and leadership in the promotion of democracy that the US has enjoyed since the end of WWII are ending. It would seem that the “dark night of the soul” I have predicted in my past books and newsletters is now upon us. Polarization of our populace as the direct result of severe economic inequality and concentration of power in the hands of a billionaire class, along with an abandonment of public education and failure of the media to reveal all of this to the public, is playing out before our eyes. We have a president who is blowing up our institutions. We have a Congress that is doing nothing about our monumental national debt, the fall of the dollar as the global currency, making the rich pay their fair share of taxes, and protecting our vital programs such as Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid.

Being an astrologer, I have to go on record for interpreting our future through a different lens. The slow-moving, most powerful planets are moving into new signs that will all be fully in place in their new positions by late April 2026. We will get a taste of these new placements between July and August this year before they retrograde back into their old signs until next year. This presents to all of us opportunities to change the present course of our history to resemble the first American Revolution that began July 4, 1776, setting us on a course of history’s greatest experiment – a democratic republic by and for “the people”. I think we will eventually rid ourselves of the effects of “the Mad King”. Young people will come forth to form a new leadership mandate, taking us out of this crisis. I think we can save ourselves, once again, and change the current tide of history. The key is to never, ever give up! Many blessings to all of you!

The Election has Consequences

As multiple wars and weather events of mass destruction (most recently in California) play out in a polarized world, human societies are in desperate need of “truth-sayers”—people who are informed, intelligent, experts in their fields, and with a sense of moral commitment and inspiration to help us all through these most challenging times. We also need a public that has the mental capacity and motivation to listen to them.

Instead, over the past several decades into the present, we have developed a mass media, much of which is dedicated to lies and emotionally fueled distortions, designed to strengthen people in power and increase the standing of persons of enormous wealth.

Public education in America has been underfunded and often unavailable to lower income neighborhoods. At the same time, civics, political science and history have been removed from the classroom, resulting in a nation that has been “dumbed down” and easy prey for deception and manipulation. This has been assisted by young people with eyeballs constantly on their cell phones, drowning their brains in ads and trivia. Now, the Trump administration is set to downsize or “eliminate” the Department of Education.

Consequences!

Using “freedom of speech” as an excuse, everything from TV networks to podcasts, to Social Media posts – are now “deregulating” themselves. The most recent example, Marc Zuckerberg’s announcement that guardrails to the truth are being taken down on Facebook and his social media empire. Fox News has been successfully sued for lies and slanders connected to political news and campaigns, but continues to distort the news around important issues and opinions. The President of the US continues to push his lies and distortions, hooking people on his opinions – similar to people who get addicted to drugs, until they simply “overdose”. A major example of this is his offending millions all over the world by declaring Ukraine’s president Zelensky a dictator and blaming him for starting the war, and continually complimenting Russian dictator and mass murderer, Vladimir Putin. Back here, Trump has recently fired the Head of the Joint Chiefs and all top military personnel, replacing them with his cronies.

Elon Musk’s “weapons of mass destruction”, eliminating or immobilizing government agencies that are necessary for the public good, are unauthorized by law and he has no legal standing, except that Pres. Trump has given him this power. Musk, in turn, has wielded a chainsaw in public reminiscent of several horror films and highlighting his sociopath tendencies.

Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. has been approved to head up the Department of Health, who is known to be against vaccines, and immediately went to work gutting employees and systems there. In response to this, the State of Louisiana has decided to no longer make vaccines mandatory. Meanwhile, locations throughout the US that stopped vaccinations, presently in Texas and New Mexico, are witnessing the spread of measles and other contagious diseases.

The defunding of US government agencies such as USAID, that helped end HIV as a global pandemic, will soon see the deadly consequences of these practices with the rise in AIDS and other diseases such as malaria and tuberculosis around the world. We are seeing the worst pandemic of bird flu in recent history, causing farmers to destroy their poultry and increasing the price of eggs. The March Lunar Eclipse at 23 degrees Virgo on the Neptune of the US opposition Saturn suggests a real and present danger of the spread of disease epidemics.

Musk’s DOGE people are now raiding Medicaid, Social Security and Medicare. The recent budget passed by the House is slashing Medicaid. Millions of women are now lacking reproductive care, leading to the US having the highest rate of infant deaths in the industrialized world. All these “firings” of essential people in government agencies will penalize the elderly, retired, handicapped, veterans, disabled, as these agencies will be unable to function. Meanwhile, the Congress is proposing extending the tax cuts for billionaires..

What lies ahead?

In 1980-81, Saturn in Virgo was conjunct the US Neptune in Virgo and transiting Neptune in Sagittarius was square the US Neptune. Mt. St. Helens erupted, the Pope was shot and Pres. Ronald Reagan was shot. The Pope has just been hospitalized in critical condition. In late 2024, the California wildfire catastrophe in Los Angeles was considered the worst environmental disaster in our history. Pres. Trump’s blowing up of our institutions, siding with Putin in the Russia/Ukraine war and his lies and distortions have caused his approval ratings to drop like a rock. The month of March presents extreme tensions in his horoscope.

Neptune and the sign of Pisces often govern human tendencies to “escape” from problems, fall into multiple addictions, spiral into self-deceptions. Ironically, it also reveals the highest potentials for great spiritual insights and breakthrough inventions, fine art, music and inspiration that exceed anything that has gone before.

The symbol for this water sign and the Age of Pisces is presented as two fish swimming in opposite directions. One is sinking into the dark realms of the ocean, while the other is swimming upward toward the light of the sun. One thing the fish have in common is that they have to “keep moving”. The question is: which direction? Investments in water – its purification, management, and sustainability – will rise in importance. Water is the source of all life on earth and humans have damaged this precious resource. Flooding is also catastrophic when hurricanes and tornadoes sweep across nations.

Investing in science for the curing of diseases, invention of new energies, and solving technological problems could propel us into a new age of progress. In contrast to this, the regressive policies of the Trump administration will ensure blowing up our institutions, our death as a democratic nation and, potentially, a plunge into a new Dark Age for humanity.

Trump’s World:

The President has said he will end the war between Ukraine and Russia. This will happen, but at great cost and important concessions from Ukraine, such as US control of their rare earths. Putin and Trump are old friends and Trump allies with him as a “fellow dictator”. Trump is not comfortable with NATO and will not allow for Ukraine to join. Recently, he had a friendly meeting with India’s president, who is now seen as a mostly Fascist head-of-state, recently declaring India as a Hindu “only” nation.

An “isolationist”, he believes in a world of “strong men” as heads of state, arming themselves, negotiating transactional deals, and should, otherwise, “keep to themselves”. His world view is similar to the old heads of the Mafia who make deals with each other to avoid turf wars. Trump’s mafias are giant transnational corporations buying up the world’s resources. His recent proposals for selling “Gold Cards” as green cards for $5 million for US legal immigrants, and, simultaneously, deporting parentless immigrant children would reverse the poem on the Stature of Liberty – “Give me your tired, your poor” – that has defined the US for centuries as a democratic land of opportunity for all.

A recent speech in Europe by Vice President Vance emphasized this policy and openly insulted our “former” European allies who were there. This administration has threatened tariffs on both Canada and Mexico, our neighbors and trading partners. Trump, as we all know, is working to get rid of all undocumented immigrants rather than offering them a path to citizenship.

The one positive outcome that could present itself — is for the European Union to strengthen and come together to act in their interests, no longer depending on the US. They need to strengthen their military might against Russia, since Pres. Trump is conceding to Putin and making it obvious that he is ending US global enforcement of democracy that has been in place for decades.

Basically, the past 70 years of American prosperity with the mantle of support for democracy and the “free world” has been decapitated by the Trump administration in just a few weeks.

Mother Nature:

The March 14^th Eclipse conjunct the US Neptune in Virgo opposition Saturn combined with Mercury going retrograde in Aries, suggests, unfortunately, more environmental and natural catastrophes. A similar set of patterns connected to the US Neptune emerged in 1980 -81, a period when Mt. St. Helens erupted in Washington State. Recent tectonic instabilities are being noted off the coasts of Oregon and Alaska. Volcanoes erupting, flooding, fires, are all included in the list of probabilities. There may be an earthquake and tsunami in the Pacific rim area, possibly Japan and/or Hawaii. Aspects connected to Neptune/Saturn force us to face harsh realities we have avoided for a long time.

Threats to Economies, Health, and Those in Power:

These same configurations suggest some kind of economic crisis that may worsen inflation and sink financial markets. As stated above, the previous similar historic period (1980-81) presented us with the eruption of Mt. St Helens in the State of Washington and attempts on the lives of Pope John Paul and of President Ronald Reagan. Our multiple trillions of dollars of out-of-control national debt, monumental tax breaks for billionaires, tariff-induced inflation spirals, will likely increase the price and value of gold, which is a safety play for investors. Recently, the “Oracle of Omaha”, Warren Buffet, the billionaire who pays taxes, has gotten his assets into cash positions and is warning us of a sell-off on financial markets.

Another period when the US Neptune was activated (Uranus in Pisces opposed the US Neptune in Virgo) was 2008, when markets crashed and resulted in what was referred to as “The Great Recession”.

We need to pay attention to journalists whose critical thinking and truth-telling will help us. Nobel Prize winner, and Filipino/American journalist, Maria Ressa, and CEO of “Rapper” strongly points to the significant danger of losing truthful reporting for Americans who have been experiencing lies, distortions, and “fake news”. Without high standards for the press, we are in danger of losing democracy. This is a time when accurate and truthful reporting are of major consequence.

As quoted above, from the book, “The Zodiac by Degrees” by Martin Goldsmith, the Sabian Degree degree of the 9 degree Aries Solar Eclipse March 29^th is described as “a behavior of adolescent self-absorption and attempts to sway public opinion on the part of famous people, by the use of the media “– and having it all “backfire”. The degree 23 degrees of Virgo of the Lunar Eclipse on March 14^th is described as: “Having built a Playhouse out of odds and ends, a group of children decide upon the characters they will play in their improvised dramas.” Does all this sound familiar?

The week of April 6^th, Mercury and Venus go direct, conjunct Saturn, trine Mars and sextile Uranus. Significant economic decisions will be made concerning repairing infrastructures destroyed by climate disasters. Trump has already expressed his desire to eliminate FEMA, the agency that rescues towns and cities that have been destroyed in climate catastrophes.

Chaos, Inc.

President Trump has, as he said he would, become a dictator on Day One. We are now finding out what it is to lose our democracy whose existence depends upon a “balance of powers”. The March/April planetary configurations are very tough in the chart of Pres. Trump, possibly his having to face a hidden but significant health crisis. His propositions to take over the Panama Canal, Greenland, and Canada will have to be seriously modified or will fail. He will run into conflicts with his “bro” Elon Musk and his party in Congress. Remember that these people in the Congress have to go back to their states and get re-elected.

Trump may be using these global threats to “make deals” he thinks favor capital wealth in the US., but they will not work as they are offending multiple heads of state. He may be vying for control of the rare earths in Greenland that will be essential to global technology dominance in the future. However, we are already in friendly deals with Finland, Denmark, and Sweden that include military surveillance locations. As pointed out above, Trump is alienating our friends and allies, replacing friendly negotiations with humiliating arm-twisting threats.

Ironically, China will likely walk into the gap the US leaves behind. Trump’s trade decisions are increasing the power and economic influence of both Russia and China. Last month, he welcomed Prime Minister Bodhi of India, promising stronger economic alliances there. In recent years, India has morphed into another increasingly Fascist government. What many Americans do not know, is that from the mid 1990s into the present, the largest number of people who have immigrated to the US are from India!

Neptune’s deceptions will be uncovered and harsh truths will emerge.

The Real Economy:

When Pres. Biden made one of his last speeches before leaving office, he spoke about the danger posed by the “oligarchs”, basically those who control most of this nation’s wealth and assets and, indeed, most of the world’s wealth. Unfortunately, this transfer of wealth has been going on for decades, under the reign of both political parties and has been amplified since the “Citizens United” Decision by the Supreme Court in 2010 allowing massive amounts of money to go into political campaigns from the richest people — calling this “freedom of speech.”

The current transit of Uranus in Taurus was in this very same place in the 1930s, corresponding with the Rise of the Third Reich in Germany. They were enabled by a previously democratically elected Weimar Republic that was weak and corrupt. Their economy had collapsed and their currency was hugely inflated. Hitler and the Nazis were elected and marched into the arena. Sound familiar?

The wealth gap between the top controllers of wealth and everybody else in America is the widest it has been since the early 20^th Century, referred to as the “Gilded Age.” The great irony is that this inequity is behind the “populist revolution” that swept Pres. Trump into office, ironically, a member of the card-carrying “oligarch” class who brought all of this wealth grab into play in the first place!

The Best Elections Money Can Buy

Indeed, Pres. Trump’s rewarding Elon Musk (who contributed more than $270 million to his campaign) with so much power and privilege, along with other billionaires points to all public protections being removed and/or government programs, as stated above, such as Medicaid, Medicare, and Social Security for the masses being threatened. This is all on track to insure that these “oligarchs” can get away with paying no taxes and do, essentially, whatever it takes to increase their wealth and cement their power.

The large banks, food and energy corporations — are consolidating. Investment giant, Black Rock, alone, currently oversees $11 trillion. Jan. 9, gold reached a high of $2692 a Troy Ounce. By the end of January, it was in the $2800s, and by February it soared into the high 2900s, pointing toward real and present fears of an increasing inflationary economy.

Thus, Trump’s tariffs are creating an inflationary spiral that most people voted for him to prevent. As stated above, being a “deal maker,” he may use these as threats to gain other things he has on his agenda, “strong-arming” Canada, Greenland, Mexico, and Panama to make concessions to him. March and April’s eclipses and planetary lineups in Pisces point to confusion, instability, and fear – all not good for financial markets.

The US dollar is already in the process of moving out of paper money into a digital currency. Paper checks are becoming obsolete, replaced by online direct payments into banks. Credit cards have been converted to cell phone swipes for years now and will expand in their use. At the same time, cryptocurrencies are expanding globally. Have we forgotten the Sam Bankman-Fried crypto scam that cost investors millions of dollars and crashed multiple California banks? All this will pose a series of cyber security risks throughout the economic landscape.

As stated above, many people are moving their assets into gold as a safety play. Last month, Goldman Sachs announced that they have acquired a considerable amount of gold – a highly unusual move for them. For now, my suggestion is to be in non-mortgaged (possible income-producing) real estate, gold, silver, rare earths, water stocks, and cash.

The Current US Government is Assisting the Economic and Military Rise of China:

The recent emergence of China’s AI format, DeepSeek, challenging our AI Format, ChatGPT, is only the beginning of the long emergence of China as a reigning world technological and economic power. Pluto in tech Aquarius going over their Ascendant and Moon, with Uranus coming up in Gemini, in harmony with this placement, and Saturn and Neptune going into Aries, also harmonizing with China’s chart helps their emergence as a global economic power. The only glitch for them, ironically, is a possible rebellion by their populace against the tyranny of their current government.

Meanwhile, Trump’s tariffs against our former trading allies and friends, looming withdrawal from NATO, and isolationist policies, weakening the USA as a world power, is leaving the door wide open for China to step in and replace us as the leading economic power in the world. Our “former” trading partners are likely to switch their economic ties to China as we abandon them.

Climate Change:

I would like to introduce an idea that contrasts with the prevalent and most current view of global warming. It is true that the global mean temperature, due to the burning of fossil fuels, has been rising to new highs in recent years. However, with Pluto now in its long term transit in Aquarius (until 2044), I think we need to think about a possible cyclical “cold” cycle. The last time Pluto transited this sign was during the mini-Ice Age when the American Revolution was fought, and Washington’s troops were freezing in the woods and fields. Aquarius is traditionally a “cold” sign and could reverse the warming trend. Cooling cycles are often initiated by what is known as a “Solar Minimum”, or a period when the Sun produces very few solar flares or storms.

The last mini-Ice Age came after a global warming cycle when glaciers melted at the poles, bringing fresh water into the oceans. This, in turn, slowed down the thermohaline currents (or important coastal warming currents) such as the Gulf Stream. (The Gulf Stream has been noticeably slowing down in recent years.) These currents warm temperatures in Europe and America. At that same time, a Solar Minimum was present and many nations lost the climate conditions to grow important crops due to extreme cold and shortened summers.

The question I have is this. What happens when extreme heat and cold come together? The standard explanation is that this condition would produce severe storms. We shall see.

Science and Technology:

Fusion Breakthrough:

Posted on “Interesting Engineering” by Aman Tripathi on Jan. 11, is an article entitled: “US Scientists find way to prevent runaway electron damage in fusion reactors.” This information is gleaned from scientists at the Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory using the Summit supercomputer.

The article goes on to say: “Fusion energy has long been hailed as the ‘holy grail’ of clean energy. However, the problem of runaway electrons has been a major hurdle in realizing the nuclear fusion process. The latest simulations could be a massive step in this regard. It could pave the way for the successful operation of ITER, the world’s largest nuclear fusion reactor under construction in France.”

The article goes on to explain: “Runaway electrons are negatively charged particles that can be generated during fusion reactions. These electrons can be accelerated to high energies and can significantly damage the reactor walls and potentially derail the entire fusion process.” ‘These electrons can possess as much as 100,000 times more energy than the bulk electron population, so the beam becomes highly energetic and can cause significant damage.’ said Chang Liu, lead author of the study.”

The article goes on to say: “The simulations on Summit showed that a type of electromagnetic wave, called an Alfven wave, can scatter runaway electrons and prevent them from forming a damaging beam. . . The waves disperse the electrons, reducing their energy and preventing them from causing harm.”

The article is worth reading in its entirety. This may be the last major hurdle to overcome in the actual production of fusion energy for our electrical infrastructure. Last month’s newsletter reported that the construction and installation of a fusion chamber designed by Commonwealth Fusion in Cambridge, MA has recently been approved to be built and installed in the State of Virginia.

China’s Energy Breakthrough:

It was announced on “Live Science” that China has a plan to build an enormous 0.6 mile wide solar power station that will beam continuous energy back to earth via microwave. This could be a big step forward in clean energy — or a warning signal that this innovation could be used as a weapon. Chinese leadership has recently announced that their relationship with Russia is closer and more mutually supportive, especially since Russia has been selling them oil and gas. The Chinese have also announced progress in solving some significant problems at their nuclear fusion sites.

Final Thoughts:

We are at the interface of the turning of major worldwide historic cycles which will leave an unrecognizable landscape of upheaval– in natural landscapes, environmental and climate shifts, economic destruction and reconstruction, technological and scientific breakthroughs – many that “we the people” are tragically unprepared to face, let alone navigate.

Ancient tribal, religious, and racial divisions haunt humanity, bringing us, once again, to the brink of wars over territories, economies, and the minds and hearts of peoples. Fascism has been rising all over the world and is now a “fact” in the US. We have sadly forgotten the history – the rise of the Nazis in Germany in the 1930s — that should have instructed us and warned us of these dangers.

The last transit of Pluto in Aquarius in the 1700s presented us with the American Revolution against the British monarchy. It would seem that “Mad King George” has risen from the grave and returned again, this time within the boundaries of our nation, forcing us to decide whether we want fascism or democracy. Who among us will rise — here and abroad – to once again, help all of us to make this determination?

Contrary to feelings of hopelessness, I think we have a shot at an evolutionary “leap” – a process of coming out of our collective coma – a wake up call for humans on planet earth. We will soon see!

US Pluto returns in Capricorn, moving forward into Aquarius for the next 19 years.

The US is getting its Uranus return into Gemini from July 7, 2025, to November 7, 2025 (it will retrograde back into Taurus on November 7, 2025, and return to Gemini for its full transit from April 26, 2026, to May 22, 2033).

Is this the Second American Revolution or is this the American Devolution?

From an astrological perspective, it is quite interesting that the horoscope of Pres. Donald Trump is amazingly similar to the chart of “Mad King George”, the monarch who reigned over England at the time of the American Revolution (born: June 4, 1738, St James Square, London, England)). It raises the fascinating and engaging question about whether or not we are “reversing gears” and leaving behind the concepts and ideals of democracy in favor of a centralized dictatorial power.

January’s afflictions with Pluto present a power struggle, possibly between Pres—Trump and Elon Musk, the latter who has been exercising his billionaire status to influence Congress. Musk has his Sun and Mercury in the sign of Cancer (the Sun sign of the US) with Gemini Venus and Gemini rising. Trump has his Sun, Uranus, and North Node in Gemini. This sign is associated with the mythical twins Castor and Pollux along with the concept of “sibling rivalry”. Will their “bromance” come to an end? Ironically, Musk, who continually wants to cut government programs, requested and was given a sizable rescue loan from the US government in 2009 when Tesla was threatened with bankruptcy! He is known to have contributed $277 million to Trump’s campaign.

In the present era, rather than re-adopting a monarchy, we may have moved toward fully embracing a “Plutocracy” or the unfettered control of a billionaire dictator, whose economic “class” controls the nation’s wealth and is now, in the absence of checks and balances, in charge of the government, making his own rules. Could this president be a reincarnation of King George, coming back to get his revenge? I tend to think that our Pluto return and soon, our Uranus return are here to “rehash” and challenge the concepts of the American Revolution with players on the stage that remind us that “history rhymes.”

Trump has promised us that he will enlist the US Military to arrest and deport undocumented immigrants, a massive undertaking that would invade millions of families and locations throughout the nation. This intent is remarkably reminiscent of the practices of the Third Reich in Germany in the 1930s. Apparently, it is thought that this is “perfectly legal” and would run into little resistance. Most of Trump’s recommended cabinet appointments are not only unqualified but hostile to the departments they would manage. Over the Christmas and Hanukkah, holidays of “Peace, love, and light”, Trump published multiple “hate” messages on his Social Media. He has “proclaimed” he wants to buy Greenland, absorb Canada into the US, and take over the Panama Canal – all of which nations have announced a resounding “no” and would require a war to accomplish. He fabricated a story that the Chinese are inhabiting the Panama Canal which is an outright absurdity.

Many observations and interpretations can be made of this horoscope. With the Sun, Pluto, and the Part of Fortune all conjunct in Aquarius in the 10^th House, we can count on issues rising around the “abuse of powers” in every aspect of governance. Mike Johnson, Speaker of the House, and his bowing down to Trump’s every wish to hold onto power; Musk’s unjustified presence in Washington; Trump’s use and/or abuse of power along with his frequently unqualified appointments to government posts as mentioned above, will unfurl consequences many people never expected. However, it is the legislature (both Houses of Congress) that may form an unexpected resistance.

We may be facing new viral epidemics and struggle with their prevention and cures.

My theory is that Trump, who is a “deal maker”, will use this is a negotiating tactic to get other things he wants. He has already threatened tariffs with European nations who refuse to buy our oil and gas. Venus sextile Mercury points to a possibility of this tactic working in some cases. Neptune in Pisces in the 12th House of Secrets conjunct the North Node points to serious climate collapses, and an increase in the number of volcanic eruptions, and earthquakes here and in other nations. Global drug cartels will likely be uncovered. News has recently been released that most of the firearms these cartels use are smuggled into Mexico and sold to them by US Gun manufacturers.

With Saturn, Venus, Neptune, and the North Node in Pisces healthcare and Social Security reforms will be on the agenda, but the efforts to “privatize” these programs will fail in the face of the fact they would simply disappear for most Americans.

DEMOCRACY is about power directed to “the people”, defying thousands of years of human governance and abuse in the hands of monarchs, dictators, and military governors. It relies on people who broadly and comprehensively have an excellent and relevant education, are capable of critical thinking, keep themselves informed of historic events, both locally and internationally, and have a “free press” that takes responsibility for publishing “the truth” as they see it aligned with a population that cherishes the right to vote. Freedom of speech is essential, but perpetual lies and distortions need to be upended and exposed. In today’s Artificial Intelligence world, cyber security should be a framework placed around all institutions. Media on all levels that proclaims itself to be “news” needs to be held legally accountable. Currently, these guard rails, piece by piece, have been systematically removed. US Public education, once the envy of the world, has been underfunded and downgraded.

CORPORATE RULE, or control of the government by the giant, monopoly corporations and financial institutions, for many decades, have been absorbing and investing most of this nation’s wealth, and have instituted and entrenched giant wage gaps between the top and the bottom levels of employees of US companies. We know that the top 1% (America’s billionaire class) controls more than 80% of the nation’s wealth. Since the 2008 crash and recession, brought on when the “banksters” issued sub-prime mortgage loans, traded as derivatives “crashed”. These same corporations and “investment funds” bought properties back at “fire sale prices” from multiple foreclosures. What is so relevant at this time is a major need for policing and regulating AI and Cryptocurrency trading. Under Trump, most people think he is the “king of deregulation” which would risk failures of our banking and financial systems.

According to the online newsletter More Perfect Union, “Blackstone is now the largest corporate landlord on earth,” owning 300,000 homes in the US, while there are “16 million vacant houses, 28 for every homeless person.” This fact is exposed — billionaire-controlled corporations have bought millions of homes and either raised rents or left them as empty investments. A deadly practice of owning apartments or condo complexes, charging enormously high rents for a few people who can afford to rent them, and leaving the rest unoccupied has replaced the normal rule of “full occupancy” with rents based on market affordability. Higher interest rates (which have recently come down) limited mortgage availability. Prices skyrocketed for houses. The result: many gainfully employed Americans can no longer afford to own a house or rent a decent apartment. This is the reality most working people face that keeps them from home ownership.

Ironically, this nation has voted for real estate billionaire Donald Trump to “fix this,” in part, because, they can no longer afford to rent or buy a home! This is one of the major reasons we are suffering from serious inflation. Marching onto the American stage comes the old “wolf invading the hen house!” In addition to all this, we could be experiencing a “surveillance state”, concentrating on Trump’s enemies and opponents. One of the platforms Republicans ran on was fear of “the Deep State.” On Nov. 20, an article by Ronan Farrow was published in The New Yorker, entitled: “The Technology the Trump Administration could use to hack your phone.” Will Trump form his own “deep state”? How monumentally ironic!

Giant investment funds, Vanguard, Black Rock, and Fidelity, plus giant hedge funds managed in Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan Chase, and Bank of America, hold or control most of this nation’s invested wealth. Trump is ditching environmental regulation favoring the giant and rich oil and gas companies’ motto: ”Drill, baby, drill.” He has announced the pressuring of European nations to buy oil and gas exclusively from the US. Meanwhile, we already have the least federally funded healthcare system in the developed world (much of it being privatized) The newly elected government is currently interested in downsizing Social Security, Medicaid, and Medicare. This has gotten to be so serious that there is sadly, public support for Mr. Mangione, who recently has been charged with the murder of Brian Thompson, CEO of United Health Care.

At this historic point, we have turned away candidates for office who have promised that billionaires need to pay their “fair share” of taxes and opted instead to agree with Pres. Trump’s pal-in-chief, the world’s richest man who is “allergic” to being taxed, Elon Musk, that they should be “exempt.” Trump has announced his policy to make government “cuts” which can only mean programs that service the public at large. His policy that proclaims he will impose tariffs on imported goods from Canada, Mexico, and China will balloon the inflation that people who voted for him wished to end. Federal budget deficits are increasing, private debt is rising, and medical bankruptcies in the US are the highest in the world.

Wars of the Worlds:

Syria’s rebels, a conglomerate of various factions, just overthrew the genocidal Assad regime. Eight African nations have overthrown their elected governments and are fighting civil wars, the worst of which is in the nation of Sudan, with armed militias murdering millions of their people. Israel is at war with Palestine and Lebanon, recently blew up the Syrian Navy and is occupying Syrian territory, and is unofficially at war with Iran and Yemen. They have successfully “taken out” many of the leaders of terrorists in multiple nations who have been fighting them for decades. The Palestinians have lost over 45,000 people and no agreement for a two-state solution yet lies ahead. This year some kind of ceasefire deal will be made. Russia is still at war with Ukraine but Trump has announced he will “end” the conflict. We currently do not know what this will cost Ukraine, since Putin is a “friend” of Trump.

Civil chaos:

South Korea impeached its Prime Minister after he declared martial law. France shut down their parliament and tossed the prime minister. Germany’s Chancellor Scholz lost a “vote of confidence” in December and has called for an election. The UK, having thrown out numerous prime ministers in the past several years and who just had an election in the Fall putting in the Labor Party, now wants to ditch their prime minister again. There is a global trend veering into chaos.

The US has elected Donald Trump, who promises to disrupt all the US government’s institutions, proposing heads of departments that would “blow up” the function of the federal government, dismantling all social safety nets, including Social Security, Medicare, and even the FDIC that insures all banks. He has also threatened to leave NATO. He has revived the “drill baby drill” campaign promise and denies the existence of climate change emergencies, even though multiple hurricanes, droughts, massive wildfires, and other climate extremes are accelerating in the US and elsewhere. Trump’s MAGA Party (that subsumed the original Republican Party) emerged as a direct result of severe economic inequality, failure of education to include people from all walks of life and a mass media that sells products at the expense of truthful reporting. More disruption will play out in the US political environment.

The Economy:

Financial markets have never liked the level of “uncertainty” we are now witnessing. Interestingly, the budget funding package recently approved by Congress comes “due” on March 14^th – when there is a Lunar Eclipse on the US Neptune conjunct Saturn, and Mercury is retrograde – both not favorable for a budget decision. This would also point to climate catastrophes and bad economic news. I will go into more detail about this in my next newsletter. However, markets will be optimistic the week of Jan. 19^th following Trump’s inauguration, returning to uncertainty the week of Feb. 9^th when Mercury is square Uranus.

Where do we go from here?

By July 2025, Pluto’s new transit into Aquarius will be accompanied by Neptune and Saturn going into Aries, and Uranus going into Gemini. Many of the most serious locations and instabilities point to China and the Koreas. This all follows a Lunar Eclipse on March 14 on the US Neptune. These planetary transits point to huge breakthroughs in technology, including warfare. Questions loom. Will we come out of our collective “coma” and have “buyer’ remorse” as a financial crisis, a series of climate disasters, and a possible WW III threaten civilization? As an astrologer, I would predict “shock and awe” just over the horizon. Between Feb. and April, Pres. Trump’s astrological chart will present him with serious personal conflicts and instabilities.

Medical Breakthroughs:

In the Nov. 9, 2024 Issue of “News Medical Life Sciences”, an article was posted entitled “Breakthrough research reveals how to target malignant DNA in aggressive cancers.” The article goes on to say: “In three groundbreaking papers published today in ‘Nature’, scientists from the Cancer Grand Challenges team, eDyNamic, and their international collaborators at the Francis Crick Institute and University College London (UCL) shed light on the unique behavior of extrachromosomal DNA (eDNA), small circular DNA structures that are common in some of the most difficult to treat cancers.

The Papers identify, for the first time, how to specifically target cancer cells – such as glioblastoma, triple-negative breast cancer, or small cell lung cancer – much easier to treat in the future.” It goes on to report: “In one paper, the researchers identified a drug which specifically targets and kills ecDNA-containing cancer cells while sparing normal cells.” In previous newsletters, I have called attention to the coming new transits: Pluto in Aquarius, Neptune in Aries, and Uranus in Gemini would usher in major breakthroughs in medicine and technology.

In the November 2024 Issue of Scientific American, an article was published entitled “The Staggering Success of Vaccines” by Tara Haelle. In recent years, conspiracy theorists such as Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. have questioned the safety of vaccines. I am old enough to remember horrific diseases like smallpox, polio, TB, measles, mumps, chickenpox, influenza, and the millions of lives lost or permanently damaged by these highly contagious illnesses. The article reports: “Around the globe, the measles vaccine has saved nearly 94 million lives over the past 50 years. This and other vaccinations have revolutionized global health. ‘Immunization is the most universal innovation that we have across humankind.’ says Orin Levine, a fellow at the Center for Global Development in Washington, D.C. He notes that there are people around the world without access to telephones or even toilets, but they find ways to get their children immunized. ‘ It’s the innovations that demonstrate what is possible in terms of delivery of service to everyone everywhere.’ The author goes on to report: A May study in the Lancet estimated that vaccines against 14 common pathogens have saved 154 million lives over the past five decades – at a rate of six lives every minute.” This article goes on to describe the history of vaccines, how they were developed, and their staggering success. I recommend reading the entire article to correctly inform yourself about this recently “politicized” issue.

Recently, on Globalpositive News, an article was posted: “Japanese scientists have created non-toxic plastic that dissolves in seawater in hours. No microplastics remain”. This discovery is amazing as plastics may be the most widespread and destructive form of life-killing pollution on the globe.

Nuclear Fusion:

I am happy to announce that on Dec. 17, 2024, The RoanokeStar.com posted: “Youngkin Announces World’s First Commercial Fusion Power Plant.” The article goes on to report: “Governor Glenn Youngkin has announced that Commonwealth Fusion Systems, the largest private fusion company, will make a multi-billion dollar investment to build the world’s first grid-scale commercial fusion power plant at the James River Industrial Center in Chesterfield County, Virginia, on a site owned by Dominion Energy. The project will create hundreds of temporary and permanent jobs in the region. ‘This is a historic moment for Virginia and the world at large,’ said Governor Glenn Youngkin. ‘Commonwealth Fusion Systems is not just building a facility, they are pioneering groundbreaking innovation to generate clean, reliable, safe power, and it is happening right here in Virginia. We are proud to be home to this pursuit to change the future of energy and power.” I would recommend reading the entire article to get a perspective and an education on what this will entail.

Youngkin, a moderate Republican, has often come up as a possible future candidate for President. Virginia has been a coal economy state for decades and this installation will take us into a clean energy future. As all of you know who read this newsletter, I am of the opinion that fusion will become a reality sooner than most people think and that this breakthrough is the “holy grail” of energy. It may be the most important invention of the century.

Auto Technology:

It was recently announced that Australia has launched its first hydrogen-powered car, the Hyundai Nexo. This vehicle covers 900 kilometers in a single tank, takes only 5 minutes to refuel, and, purifies the air around it as it drives.

Earthquakes and Volcanoes:

There was a recent report that a Super Volcano, at Solfatara crater in Italy, west of Naples in the Phlegraen Fields is producing a spike in carbon dioxide emissions, along with small earthquakes. The last time this volcano erupted was in 1538.

Recently, there was a 7.0 earthquake in the San Francisco area, the largest in recent decades. Mt. Kilauea in Hawaii has begun to erupt again.

Between February and April 2025, the transits colliding in Pisces on the North Node of the Moon, in opposition to the Lunar Eclipse on March 14, point to global tectonic instabilities, especially in the Pacific Rim. This degree was last activated when Mt. St. Helen in Washington State erupted in 1980.

FINAL THOUGHTS:

On a personal note, at my age and stage of life, many would think I might consider retiring from my 51-year astrology practice and no longer feel I have to be so personally concerned with the political, social, economic, political, and environmental crises we are currently navigating. I am deeply saddened by too many people who are simply “escaping” into their cell phones and screens obsessed with glamorous celebrities — joining “cults” in which they may revoke all responsibility for careful and critical thinking – shrinking into narcissism by caring only about their fears and addictions, or simply “dropping out.” Simultaneously, I am also inspired by the many courageous, intelligent, self-sacrificing individuals “out there” that you may or may not know, whose lives are effectively committed to a greater good and a better world. Through the ages, these people have made history.

Two possibilities lie ahead for all of us. We will either go extinct or we will evolve. If we do not blow ourselves up, we may be entering the most amazing age of discoveries, inventions, and breakthroughs since the first humans walked the earth. I still have a passion in my heart and mind to be part of all this until my time here on earth comes to an end.

Are we ready?

There are multiple opinions and discussions around the arrival of the Age of Aquarius. My opinion resides on the side of the approximate 2100-year precession of the equinoxes on the ecliptic that is currently moving us from the Constellation of Pisces, the Fish into the Constellation of Aquarius, the Water Bearer. I take this position because the great themes and issues of these symbolic ages are playing out now right before our eyes!

The clashes, questionings, and decline of the ancient mystical and tribal Pisces religions, confusions surrounding cultural and personal identity, the melting of the glaciers at the poles, climate catastrophes and rising oceans due to global warming and the necessity of ending the age of fossil fuels all point to themes connected to Pisces.

Simultaneously, scientific and technological breakthroughs such as the Internet and AI, ventures into outer space, nuclear fusion, bio-genetic engineering, and most importantly, the re-visiting and possibly challenging or saving of “Democracy” — government “by and for the people” all point to our dawning Aquarian Age, whether we are ready or not! The last time Pluto was in Aquarius was when the US won the Revolutionary War, the French Revolution destroyed its monarchy, and the Industrial Revolution was launched.

Aquarius is mythologically and historically connected to the theme of “revolution” and the current developments and discoveries are not disappointing. Here they are: The Quantum Revolution; the Information Revolution; The Genetic Biological Revolution; and the People Being-Empowered-Revolution. When the legendary Prometheus brought fire as a gift to the human race, the “Gods disapproved and punished Prometheus. The looming question is: Are the “people” ready to assume this responsibility?

In Forbes Magazine, March 23, 2023, an article was posted entitled: “American IQ Test Scores Show Recent Declines, According to New Study.” They report: “American IQ test scores have dropped during a recent 13-year period, a remarkable finding that runs counter to the well-established trend of increasing IQ scores throughout much of the 20th Century.” The article quoted a new study published in the “Journal Intelligence” entitled “Looking for Flynn effects in a recent online US adult sample: Examining shifts within the SAPA Project, by Elizabeth M. Dworak, William Revelle, and David M, Condon.” This was taken from the testing of almost 400,000 people between 2006 and 2018.

We are not short of “geniuses” who have created “crisper” technology around genetic engineering, quantum computers, nuclear fusion chambers, artificial intelligence, rocket ships, and space satellites. The questions loom: Are the majority of the rest of us capable of self-governance and creating institutions that educate, finance, and implement programs for the benefit of all the people? Or are we looking at a separation between the “beautiful minds” and those who are indifferent, power-grabbing, self-absorbed, poorly educated, and just go about their “business”, hoping to survive from one day to the next?

Many feel that it all comes down to economics. Monetary cuts to public education with its removal of civics and history from the classroom and hugely inflated costs for a college degree have characterized movements in the US for the past 50-plus years. Racial, ethnic, and religious clashes are at the worst level in decades. While women are getting more college degrees and moving “up the Ladder”, young men are feeling left out, even though recent programs like the “Chip Act” and the Infrastructure Bill”, financing more jobs and education in the trades that these men could do, generating good income, does not restore their self-esteem as “bread-winners”.

Most importantly, the separation of the most wealthy billionaire class in modern history from everyone else has increased exponentially. Recently, it seems that “culture” has become a “cult” or moving from critical thinking to submission to highly financed media manipulators of social media, whose cell phones have “addicted” young people to their posts.

The original “inventors” of the notion of “Democracy” were the ancient Greek Athenians like Plato, Socrates, and Aristotle, who proposed democratic governance of the privileged consisting of the greatest minds — that would theoretically rule the “masses” with compassion and intelligence. They did not think that “commoners”, slaves, or women had the intelligence to govern. In the US, we have written into law that the right to run for office and to vote is given to every citizen. It took us into the 20^th Century before women, Native Americans, and African Americans had this right. Our founders also wrote into the constitution a separation between “church and state.” This issue is coming up again in the present time as a book-banning “fundamentalist” religion has inserted itself into the political arena. We will now, once again, determine where the “ideal” of Democracy will take us!

Mechanistic Materialism vs a Conscious Universe:

Recently, In September 2024, Francis Collins, former head of the National Institute of Health and co-discoverer of DNA released his book: “The Road to Wisdom”. What distinguishes this famous doctor from many others is that he is also deeply spiritual, a convert to Christianity, as well as a distinguished scientist. He does not believe that science – the examination, measurement, and study of what we see as the material world is at odds with the notion of a supreme, loving intelligence out of which we are all created. He believes human compassion, imagination, and expanded critical thinking both encompass and surpass our technological creations.

This comes at a time when several distinguished physicists are theorizing that the universe in its entirety may be consciousness itself. Could a scientific civilization bring together spiritual compassion, social consciousness, and a continuum that embraces both? That is the timely question that the Aquarius theme demands we answer.

Without social compassion, people of science are enabled to technologically innovate the instruments for dehumanization and mutual mass destruction. Without science, religions can and have devolved into cults, plunge societies into ignorance, and are ruled by hierarchies that pit tribe against tribe. Could we embrace a critical examination of both and, as a result, make an evolutionary leap into a new human species that is as distant from our present manifestation as we now are from the apes? That is the question!

The Economy:

The American economy will be suffering from “bipolar disorder” this month, swinging from pessimism to optimism and back again as contradicting factors emerge. The problem has been that statistics reveal that we have high employment, inflation is decreasing, the stock market is rising, while the public still sees high prices for housing, food, utilities, energy, etc.

Mercury (the communicator) goes retrograde Nov. 25^th, is square Saturn Dec. 6^th (a downer) then goes direct Dec. 15^th trine Mars (an upper), while Jupiter retrograde is square Saturn Dec. 24^th, sending out mixed signals. With wars overseas emerging and ensuing uncertainty, gold is reaching all-time highs, silver is heading in that direction, and there are wild swings in cryptocurrencies. The “elephant in the room” is the rising and unsustainable debt in the government and the private sectors.

Venus in Sagittarius is square Neptune Nov. 9^th. On Nov. 15^th, the Full Moon in Taurus is conjunct Uranus signifying chaos. These aspects also point to more critical weather conditions and the toll they take on human lives and economic conditions. There will also be questions raised, once again, about the validity of the results of the election.

China’s economy continues to decline. It presents high unemployment, and gigantic debt, and its entrepreneurs are “reigned in” by Communist dictator, Ji Jin Ping, whose primary effort is to maintain surveillance and control of the masses and build massive military-threatening Western democracies. Politicians talk about raising tariffs on China, which would raise costs for Americans on goods still made there and are not being made here anymore. In addition, this would further polarize us against China pushing them even further toward a world war against the West.

When Mercury goes direct on Dec. 15^th trine Mars, and Venus trines Jupiter that week, stock markets will likely move up.

Winds of War?

There is now a coalition of nations against the US and Western democracies that has been building for many years. They are Russia, China, Iran, North Korea, Cuba, and Venezuela; along with economically failed states in the Middle East like Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, and Libya. Both wars in Ukraine and Israel could be moving us toward wider conflicts.

Climate and Cognitive Dissonance:

One of the most serious crises that lie ahead is the advent of energy-eating crypto-currencies and the emergence of Artificial Intelligence (AI)… all present our civilization with a terrible choice. The philosophy of “profits at all cost” philosophy seems to ignore that the amount of energy needed to feed these giants (coal in Australia, the world’s crypto capital — and oil and gas everywhere) threatens to increase the global warming trend that, in turn, is feeding the giant hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, and severe droughts that are increasing exponentially throughout the globe. There is a movement toward a “cashless” economy that is already underway with all payments online, increasing this trend of “burning the world for money.”

In the US, the record-breaking hurricanes, Helene and Milton recently blew into North Carolina and Florida, upending people’s lives, and are bringing all this home to us. Glaciers melting rapidly at the poles, releasing long-held underground methane gasses will likely increase this heat and endanger most of the present species of life on earth, including our own. This all brings tectonic instabilities leading to serious earthquakes in susceptible regions, including under-ocean faults.

In an attempt to increase critically needed energy production, there is currently a series of openings and a series of revivals in nuclear fission plants (Idaho & Georgia) — but we all know that Plutonium and Uranium are the most toxic substances known to humanity and maintain their cohesion for thousands of years.

As all of you who have been reading this newsletter know, I believe we are on the edge of a full development and deployment of NUCLEAR FUSION – the Holy Grail of Energy. This gives off almost no pollution and presents infinite energy eventually to be deployed around the world. Another breakthrough in this technology is discussed below.

All this is so overwhelming to most people, they tend to ignore it, or, pretend it is all a “hoax.” Cognitive dissonance will sign our “death warrant” if we do not wake up, gather our economic resources, work with the scientists, and tap into levels of genius and creativity never seen before!

Uranus coming up in Gemini, trine Pluto in Aquarius – New Systems of Education:

I recently saw a piece on PBS News highlighting Weber University in Ogdon, Utah. Pointing to a more optimistic future, this university has an outstanding engineering school, that specializes in auto-tech, offering Associate Degrees, and Bachelor of Science Degrees. These options for young people have different choices for an advanced education in valuable areas will result in excellent jobs that are up-to-date on the latest technologies. Tuition is also reasonable and scholarships are offered.

As mentioned above, our nation has essentially failed to fund and educate the public. Standards have been gradually declining over the past 50 years. Thus, we have young people without even basic skills, who know no history, do not understand our constitution or what a democratic republic really is, how to pick leaders, and are often motivated to vote based on the price of gas and eggs. Critical thinking has become obsolete, News Media is no longer regulated and consequently, not trusted. The most reliable sources of news such as PBS are rarely watched. Content online, on television, and cell phone screens is often toxic, mostly nonsense, designed to capture eyeballs and sell products.

Next year, Uranus goes into Gemini, emphasizing the need to seriously upgrade education in the US and lending help and hope to our children and grandchildren. I will further discuss this transit in 2025 newsletters.

Science and Technology:

Nuclear Fusion:

In the online publication, “Interesting Engineering” by Prabhat Ranjan Mishra, a post was published entitled “UK Firm shows breakthrough nuclear fusion device prototype with 100 KW of input power.” The article reports: “A Seattle-based fusion company has showcased its new prototype device called ‘Century’. The Zap Energy device is claimed to be the first fully integrated demonstration of several fusion power plant-relevant technologies. Zap Energy, which recently raised $130 million for Century, aims to commercialize the fusion power as soon as possible. The company’s method of fusion doesn’t require magnets, cryogenics, or high-powered lasers. It relies on a method known as sheared-flow stabilized Z-pinch. This is an electromagnetic phenomenon where electric currents create magnetic fields so powerful that they compress matter.” The article goes on to say: “If you run a powerful enough current through plasma, a Z pinch can create conditions hot and dense enough for fusion.”

Good news! It was recently posted on “Neutron Bytes” that Pacific Fusion (located in Fremont, CA) “scores $900 Million in Series A Funding.” This money is coming in from billionaires who are, recently moving their money in this direction.

As many of you know, who read this newsletter, I have been publishing references to articles about fusion for years. I believe this is the “Holy Grail” of energy, and will help to end the “Age of Fossil Fuel”. The skeptics have not seen this energy available any time soon and I am observing that fusion technology is evolving much faster than many think. I predict we will see this technology emerge for use as early as 2026.

Final Thoughts:

We are living through a pivotal time in human history. Will we barrel into decisions that destroy each other and most of life on earth, or will we somehow stumble into our salvation? Astronauts, including recent space traveler William Shatner, formerly Captain Kirk of the original beloved series Star Trek, have spoken of being “moved to tears” when they gazed down on our wondrous, life-filled blue planet, knowing the threats human civilization now poses to its very existence.

Personally, for me to retain any semblance of hope as I gaze at the constellations and study their symbolism; as I contemplate alarming events unfolding around the world; as I hug my grandchildren, hoping desperately for a better world for them; I reach deeply within my psyche and feel a greater reality emerging – an eternal peace beyond ordinary understanding. Within this realm, lies an evolutionary loving presence that reaches out to all of us beyond the darkness, that promises to move us into the realms of light.

It is important to remember that conditions around the world – the global economy and resources, climate catastrophes, many nations engaged in self-destructive wars, leaders being thrown out of office, and governments collapsing – were neither designed nor controlled by either candidate. It is simply a matter of luck, good or bad, regarding what issues each future president has to face. It is more important to note a person’s personal history, political perspectives, relevant experience, and strength of character to handle whatever he/she is dealt.

My fellow astrologers are going to be studying these horoscopes to gain insights into this most important election and attempt to translate these ancient symbols into meaningful insights concerning our future. The US is the leading power in the world, militarily, economically, culturally, and ideologically. Whether we are hopelessly divided or able to come together as a successful Democracy is of the utmost importance. The direction it takes will most probably affect the future of human civilization.

It is thought by many that this may be one of the most consequential elections in US history and, to astrologers, it reflects the US Pluto return and transiting Neptune opposing the US Neptune. I have described these placements previously in my books and newsletters since 2007 as the Second American Revolution, rising climate catastrophes, and the Dark Night of the Soul in America. The ancient embedded ills in both human history and American history and their “abusers of power” have been dredged up and painfully exposed by Pluto, and our mythic religious idealism has been flooded and confused by Neptune.

Previous History:

America, by being a landing place for immigrants from all over the globe, reflects and encompasses humanity as a whole, frequently offending people who lay claim to its white, Protestant, Christian, northern European colonial origins — who, we cannot forget, were African slave owners, and who moved to commit mass genocide on the Native Americans who lived here originally.

However, these same founding fathers – a collection of some of the most brilliant men of their time – formed a Republic with Democratic elections, a Constitution with a separation of powers, and a Bill of Rights that remain possibly the most advanced governing documents in history. By suggesting a government “by and for the People” it broke the traditions of heavily armed monarchs and dictators who, by killing off any competition, had ruthlessly run the world and its empires for centuries. When George Washington refused the invitation to become “King” and, instead insisted on being an “elected” president, King George of England proclaimed that he might go down in history as one of the greatest men who ever lived.

Recent History:

In 2008, with the transit of Pluto from Sagittarius into Capricorn, and the great “crash” on Wall Street initiating a major recession, we elected the first black President, Barak Obama. We have created the “Me Too” movement, uncovering the abuses of women through the ages and renewing women’s rights to be equal citizens and control their reproductive rights. The “Rainbow Coalition” of LGBTQ persons has organized to ensure their equal rights and privileges as citizens. We have witnessed the “Black Rights Matter” movement that exposed how police are disproportionately arresting and killing people of color throughout the nation. Simultaneously, black people, gay people, Muslims, and women are getting elected to offices and rising in power, resisting the age-old attempts to suppress them economically and socially. To many people, this is a “culture shock”, resulting in the age-old human tendency to react with frustration and anger to those who are “different” or seen as “the other”. The need is emerging to come together as human beings – united in the values of respect, kindness, consideration, and a willingness to listen to each other’s different points of view. Democracy depends on it.

If you don’t believe this, just look squarely at Russia, Iran, China, Syria, Venezuela, and No. Korea is controlled by ruthless dictators who suppress their people, and project a willingness to launch terror and wars to extend their territories and economic power. This encompasses terror groups like ISIS, Hamas, and Hezbollah, who have overwhelmed governments in struggling nations in the Middle East and who started the Israeli/Hamas war. This includes a huge swath of African nations that are now “failed states” controlled by military militias who are committing mass genocide on their people.

Perhaps the biggest reason for all this American discontent has been the emergence of a giant bank-backed, corporate monopoly-dominated economic inequality in America that is the worst since the monopoly-driven “Gilded Age” in the late 19th and early 20^th Centuries. Throughout history, populist revolutions have primarily been driven by the enormous financial gaps between the elite rich and everybody else. However, if you look back at the populist French Revolution, the Russian Revolution, and the Chinese Revolution, you will observe historically, that their historic leaders were replaced by worse leaders – not a good track record!

Trump v. Harris:

TRUMP, who through most of his life was a high profile real estate billionaire, whose real estate empire was inherited from his father. He is famous for his multiple “bankruptcies” and known for the use of clever lawyers to escape the consequences. He has had three marriages and has five children, his first wife, Ivana, and his second wife, Melania, both immigrants. Melania was First Lady, while he was in office. He ran for president and defeated Secy. Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election, showcasing himself as a “populist”. Although historically not particularly religious, he associated himself with fundamental protestants, white supremacists, and social conservatives who feel their cultural beliefs have been “attacked” — as immigration has surged from other nations into the country and multi-racial, multi-ethnic people are perceived as “taking over” their positions. He supported a violent insurrection on Jan. 6, 2021, to overthrow the results of the 2020 election. This has all developed alongside women moving into powerful positions and the emergence of LGBTQ demanding their rights.

As President of the US from 2017 to 2021, he has already stated that if he is re-elected, he will be “dictator on day one.” Trump has previous positive connections with Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Il and he is friendly with other autocrats around the world. He had vowed to remove women’s abortion rights and kept his promise to put justices into the Supreme Court who overturned Roe v Wade. He wants to continue to lower taxes on billionaires, that, while he was in office created the biggest budget deficits in our history. He imposed tariffs on China (which Biden has retained) and was successful in getting powerful Middle Eastern nations to “recognize” Israel. When the Pandemic broke, he claimed that it was all “a hoax created by the Democrats.” This delayed progress in fighting the virus.

He has stated that he will get rid of government entities like the Dept. of Education, the Dept of Justice, and the FBI. Now that the Supreme Court has ruled that he has immunity while in office, there is no longer a “rule of law” that would apply to him if he should become president again. He continually claims that he won the 2020 election, even though every court case brought to trial ruled that the election was valid. He fills his speeches stoking hate toward anybody he sees as a rival or who disagrees with him, including his former VP Mike Pence. His current VP pick, extremely right-wing J D Vance, openly states he wants to make abortion illegal in all the states and eliminate the “No Fault” divorce law. Vance has served in Congress and served in the military service. He made a major flub in a previous interview for criticizing “childless cat ladies”, since two of the most popular women in the US, Dolly Parton and Taylor Swift, fit this description.

Ironically, Trump is a card-carrying member of the billionaire class who has contributed to an economy in the US that is the most unequal between the rich and everyone else in history. He is a convicted felon and suffered numerous losses in courts of law that he claims are “run by the Democrats.” Currently, the “stealing top secret documents case” lodged against him has been shut down by the presiding judge in Florida. With the Supreme Court ruling that a president has “immunity”, it will be hard to continue prosecuting this case. Other presidents have also actually taken documents after leaving office, but, unlike Trump, did not refuse to return them. He currently has stated he would not continue supporting Ukraine in its war with Russia and would strongly support meaningful tariffs on all products made outside the US. All this is public knowledge informing the American public of his positions and views. Trump is now 78 years old.

HARRIS was a Public Defender, a prosecutor, the Attorney General of California, a US Senator, and Vice President of the US under Pres. Joe Biden. She is the daughter of immigrants: a mother from India who was a medical scientist and a leading researcher in breast cancer, and a black father from Jamaica who was an economist. Her husband, Doug Imhoff, a California attorney, is Jewish, and she is stepmother to his two children. She is the first woman of color to be nominated for president by a major party.

During her tenure as Vice President, Pres. Biden has successfully passed, with Harris’ help, more broadly beneficial legislation than any president in US history in his one term but, because of his age of 81 years, his poor performance in the presidential debate in June, and frail health, he has bowed out from running for a second term. His biggest mistake was how he withdrew from Afghanistan, ironically, a deal that Trump had already made before he left office.

Harris got off to a rough start as VP in that she seemed impatient, abrupt, and lacking in information. She was not well-liked by the public and did not come across well in the media when Biden assigned her to investigate the problem of border immigration, about which she was unable to do anything. However, the US Senate passed, with the approval of both parties and Pres. Biden, the strictest immigration bill in history, but the Republican-controlled House refused to pass it at Trump’s instruction. She is an ardent supporter of women retaining their reproductive rights and supports legislation restoring abortion rights across America. She has changed her position on “fracking” now that energy costs have risen on a worldwide basis because of the sanctions on Iran and Russia due to the wars in Ukraine and Palestine/Israel, and the need has risen to make the US “energy independent.”.

Harris has effectively “reinvented herself.”She has worked hard, campaigned effectively for the Democrats, especially on the issue of women’s reproductive rights, and projected a fresh new image of courage, energy, youth, and determination to pass the Democrats’ agenda. When Biden bowed out, she emerged immediately “out of the gate” to run for President and managed to strongly unite the Democrats around her, raising record amounts of campaign money, even though this party is often, historically, at odds with itself. Her choice for VP, Tim Walz, Gov. of Minnesota, former school teacher, football coach, and who served in the military, has passed popular liberal programs and won in strongly Republican districts. She will move forward with Biden’s agenda, supporting Ukraine and Israel, and further implement economic policies concerning employment, education, and healthcare, which she says, will benefit workers and the middle class. Her background as a prosecutor, she states, will help her “fight the likes” of Donald Trump. She will be 60 years old in October.

What does the future hold for these candidates?

I could write endlessly about the astrological configurations surrounding the natal charts of these two candidates for president. The astrological community is already presenting its analysis, opinions, and excellent historical references, but very few are willing to go out on a limb and choose who will win.

There are no “absolutes” in astrology. I could have died multiple times as tough transits swept across my natal chart. I have known numerous friends and clients who have overcome so many odds and somehow survived difficult planetary transits. Others have simply, “called it a day” and moved on to the other side of life. I have seen very fortunate charts of people who have done very little with their gifts and others who have made much out of very little. The ability to choose is the most mysterious and most precious gift given to all of us.

History has taught us that when a candidate has a planet or angle conjunct with the US Moon at around 27 degrees Aquarius, he/she has an advantage. Trump has his part of fortune in 28 degrees Aquarius and Kamala Harris has her Saturn at 28 degrees of Aquarius. This is a “tie” in advantage. Interestingly, I have noticed in recent years that notable suns in Gemini have been in positions of power, i.e. former Prime Minister of the UK, Boris Johnson, former Pres. Donald Trump, Ji Jin Ping (Premier of China), Vladimir Putin whose Moon is in Gemini, and now, Kamala Harris whose Ascendant and North Node is in Gemini. The current transit of Jupiter (expansion) in Gemini highlights both Trump and Harris, another tie advantage.

Saturn’s current transit in Pisces is square to Trump’s North Node and later to his Sun. This placement is opposition Uranus, Pluto, and Venus, and later square the ascendant in Harris’ chart, pointing to a tough time ahead for both, but Harris has that Saturn trine (favorable) to her Neptune and sextile to her progressed Jupiter lending an advantage. Her progressed Sun is trine her natal Saturn from her 7th House, pointing to her choosing of her Vice President-elect wisely. Her progressed Moon is sextile her Uranus in November, the ruler of her house of career, another advantage.

Trump’s choice of J.D. Vance has been an unwise one for him and he may have “buyer’s remorse.” More importantly, the big negatives for Trump are transiting Uranus (chaos and upheaval) in his 10th House of Career, square his Mars and Ascendant, and Neptune in Pisces and Pluto (back in Capricorn at election time), both inconjunct his Ascendant. These transits indicate danger to his health and safety. However, this same transit in Harris’ 12th House of Secrets is inconjunct with her progressed Mercury, possibly revealing something she does not want the world to know. On election day, the all-important transiting Moon goes from Sagittarius (earlier in the day) to Capricorn (later in the day) helpfully sextile Harris’ MC and Mercury. Venus in Sagittarius is positive in both Trump’s chart and Harris’ chart. This will be a close election, but I think the advantage will be with Harris.

Mars transits Cancer: September 4 – Nov. 4 and again from Jan. 6 through April 16.

No Surprise — The Election will be troubled:

The US chart contains Venus, Jupiter, the Sun, and Mercury in the sign of Cancer. This sign is associated with concerns about protecting its original nation or “tribe” against what it perceives as threats and incursions against what it perceives as its “own”. This works when there is a genuine threat to a nation’s unity and existence. It worked in the Civil War and WW II. Since we are a nation of immigrants, multi-racial and multi-ethnic, it polarizes us against each other to our detriment.

I am concerned about attempts by Trump supporters and armed militias to subvert this election both through the use of sabotaging appointed “electors” and even violence perpetrated at the polls. Between Nov. 1^st and 3^rd, Mars (war) will oppose Pluto (power) (right on the Mercury/Pluto opposition in the US chart) precipitating an array of crises, even a terror attack, immediately preceding this election and continuing into the Spring of 2025. Ironically, this transit is “favorable” to Pres. Biden’s astrological chart will help him to modify these dangerous conditions. There will also likely be severe weather conditions making it difficult for people to get to the polls. I recommend voting by mail wherever it is possible.

The Economy:

There are many aspects of the economy that “contradict” each other. I think the Feds will lower interest rates, helping people finance loans and housing. The bad news is that companies will likely be “downsizing” and unemployment may rise slightly. Mars in Cancer between September 5 and Nov. 3 will likely produce storms and major flooding events, fueling the already heating up hurricane season. Jupiter in Gemini, as I have previously suggested, fuels hurricanes and tornadoes. The last time Jupiter was in this sign was in 2012 when we experienced Hurricane Sandy.

What is too seldom discussed is that insurance companies are starting to deny homeowners insurance in the most threatened parts of the country and generally raising rates for everybody else. Car insurance has gone up because if you are in an accident, the parts in newer high-tech vehicles have doubled or tripled in price. This is all highly inflationary. Things look tough, investors will be cautious and stocks may slide. However, the stock markets may recover in November. We need to remember that our whole economy, including corporations, private individuals, and governments are all financed by gigantic amounts of debt. This is why interest rates need to remain low.

The affordable housing crisis is the worst since the Great Depression of the 1930s. Based on the Pluto (finance) in Aquarius positions this year and next year, I think new “green” housing will be constructed out of brick and cement. Projects will have financing coming from a combination of entities – nonprofit agencies, governments, and private companies – all of which will make decent housing both affordable and sustainable. I will explore this most important breakthrough in the coming newsletters.

August’s stock market sell-off was in part stimulated by Japan’s stock market crash. Japan’s troubles will continue in September and October, improve in November, and be in trouble again in January. On Feb. 23, Mars goes direct, square Neptune, and later Venus and Jupiter (April 28, 1952, 1:30 PM GMT, Tokyo, Japan). They will likely have a high risk of earthquakes and tsunamis, especially in March/April 2025. Japan is our ally and leading trading partner.

Another dilemma is the cost of energy. The Israeli/Hamas war in the Middle East has resulted in oil tankers being attacked in the Red Sea. The war in Ukraine has resulted in the sanctioning of Iranian and Russian oil. Thus, prices have gone up all over the globe which is, in part, what is behind inflation. The US, the world’s “gas giant” has been able, to an extent, to be “energy independent.” This issue is highly complex.

As we go into 2025/26, the US will have to face one of our biggest dilemmas – without fossil fuels, our economy will collapse. With the continued use of fossil fuels, the livable global climate will collapse. Great achievements such as nuclear fusion and fuel-free vehicles will accelerate in the next two years as the slow-moving planets change signs. These topics will be discussed in future newsletters.

War:

In my books and previous newsletters, I have discussed the probability of escalating wars in the MIDDLE EAST. The US is already sending its formidable military fleets into the region to counteract drone attacks being launched by Iran’s ally, Yemen… If Iran thinks it can take on the US, it is tragically mistaken. Syria, another “enemy” of the US is bankrupt from its Civil War, and its leader, Assad, has already massacred hundreds of thousands of his people. Iran, which has been subsidizing terrorists against the US and Israel, is struggling to keep itself together as there are rebels within. Lebanon, inhabited by Hezbollah, is already at war with Israel, supporting Hamas. Israel’s Prime Minister, Netanyahu, is pursuing this war relentlessly, until all hostages are returned and even then, does not seem to want a “two-state solution”, supported by the US, in the region. He has killed over 40,000 Palestinians, assassinated two Hamas military leaders, and stimulated Hezbollah in Lebanon, Hamas in Palestine, and Iran’s government – all to escalate attacks on Israel. He is at odds with most of the world on this issue. Netanyahu is not popular in Israel and the Mars in Cancer is unfriendly to his Aries/Libra natal chart. There is another eclipse in Libra on Oct. 2nd in his chart, as the one-year anniversary of this war presents itself. He may begin to lose control. This situation will get even worse before it gets better!

The war in UKRAINE is a tough situation, with Ukraine holding its own with the help of the US and other NATO nations. They announced in August that they received the valued F-16s and are now trained to use them. They are currently moving their forces across a border into Russia. Russia has already sent over 300,000 men to the front. Their store of military weapons, although formidable, is being depleted. They are currently allied with Iran and Syria, but they are not in a position to help. Putin is eagerly awaiting the US presidential election, hoping Trump will win. If Harris wins, he will likely try to make a deal with Ukraine.

Climate:

September and October astrologically are showing severe storms and hurricanes developing, coming up the East Coast of the US. The current transit of Jupiter in Gemini was last in this sign in 2012 – 2013 when we witnessed Hurricane Sandy, one of the worst hurricanes in the Atlantic region ever. Up to now, the biggest hurricanes have been in the Pacific.

Warning and a Reminder:

Cyber security is an existential problem as we all now live in a digital world. On Tom’s Guide News on Aug. 5^th, it was reported: “The personal data of 2.9 billion people, which includes full names, former and complete addresses going back 30 years, Social Security numbers, and more, was stolen from National Public Data by a cybercriminal group that goes by the name Usdod. The complaint goes on to explain that the hackers then tried to sell this huge collection of personal data on the dark web to the tune of $13.5 million.

The emergence of AI into the public domain is “out of control” in that it can produce information that is misleading or incorrect. Currently, there are essentially no regulations or overseers to correct these problems. This and the major need for expanded cyber security, in general, will comprise huge and necessary decisions as we go into 2025.

Scientific Information and Breakthroughs:

Published in ECO News on July 14, an article by DF. Garcia posted that report: “The first engine in history without cylinders or pistons: It should not run, and it turns on its own without fuel.” It goes on to say: “The Omega 1 Engine can be described as a revolutionary invention that offers an exception to the ordinary internal combustion engine design. Omega 1 is designed with electromagnetic fields and a rotating rotor only.” The article goes on to report: “This engine’s design consists of a central rotor that rotates in a stator assembly which is surrounded by other rotors. A liquid fuel is continuously injected and burned in a combustion chamber to create a region of high pressure and high temperature, which is called plasma.” They claim that the Omega 1 engine could run on different fuels including normal hydrocarbons, bio-fuels, or even hydrogen. I would recommend reading this article in that it suggests plasma could replace cylinders and pistons, which is a revolutionary leap forward.

Published in the July/August Issue of Scientific American, an article entitled “The Quantum Observer” was presented by Annil Anathaswamy. It reports: One of the most confounding concepts to emerge from the cauldron of early 20th-century physics was the idea that quantum objects can exist in multiple states simultaneously. A particle could be in many places at once, for example. The math and experimental results were unequivocal about it. And it seemed that the only way for a particle to go from such a ‘superposition’ of states to a single state was for someone or something to observe it, causing the superposition to ‘collapse.’ This bizarre situation raised profound questions about what constitutes an observation or even an observer. Does an observer merely discover the outcome of a collapse or cause it? Is there even an actual collapse? Can an observer be a single photon, or does it have to be a conscious human being?” This raises the question of whether or not a quantum “observer” has to be a human being or a machine and would the machine “influence” the behavior of the object. This article is worth reading in its totality if you want your brain to be “tweaked” and your perceptions to be “stretched” beyond the ordinary. Beam me up, Einstein!

Posted on July 25, in “Wired” an article by Sandra Upson entitled “How Soon Might the Atlantic Ocean Break?”, describes the decades-long research publication by the brother/sister team (Gemini?) Peter and Suzanne Ditlevsen; a brilliant climate scientist and a mathematician point to how the Atlantic gigantic weather-producing current system could be headed for collapse. They predict that the year for this “tipping point” is: 2057. This article is extensive and comprehensive and I would suggest going online and reading it in its totality. The immediate need to eliminate fossil fuels, especially methane gas, is pushing us forward into the green revolution since the alternative is an absolute catastrophe.

I am reminded that the energy we are “burning” for AI and the burning of coal to create Crypto Currency are increasing exponentially and also moving us further into the climate danger zone! This is all scary and further pushes us either into “denial” or fast-moving solutions, like nuclear fusion. As I am writing this newsletter, the California Park Fire has consumed over 5,000 acres of forest per hour and forest fires are raging in Oregon and Canada. China is experiencing historic floods and landslides throughout the nation, destroying crops, devastating their economy, and causing thousands to flee their homes.

Final Thoughts:

As an astrologer, I am continually observing the movements of the planets through the constellations that symbolize how we are all moving through our individual and collective “stories.” We are sometimes seemingly “fated” to repeat the past and/or create the future through our array of responses within the context of humanity’s journey. My take on all this, as I have stated frequently before, is that we are at a historic juncture where we have a clear choice: extinction or evolution.

The powerful, slow-moving planets (Pluto, Neptune, Uranus, and Saturn) are all entering and moving through new signs starting in 2025 – 2026, initiating brand new cycles, offering up energy, optimism, major scientific breakthroughs, and generational shifts with new points of view. If we do not blow ourselves up, we will likely move up — and out of our present, seemingly hopeless, condition – traveling to new realms of experience intellectually, materially, and spiritually.

Our newest friend, Hal, the computer better known as AI, requires of us the perspective of a wise adult, knowing this is a tool, not a living entity that threatens to take us over. Mechanistic materialism cannot be the “controlling viewpoint” of our civilization. We need to recognize that the whole universe may be made up of a divine, conscious substance that creates and includes all of us – that recognizing and expanding consciousness, rather than turning ourselves over to machines, will determine the future.

Albert Einstein said: “Either nothing is a miracle or everything is a miracle. I choose to believe the latter.” Human compassion, creativity, and spiritual insight magically emanate only from us — if we so choose.
